I can start a season, learn about a racing series that I never knew about, learn the drivers names.. wonderful! Run a season championship.. very fun, the cars were really fun to drive, the AI was awesome!! Ok.. I completely skipped AMS (1?)... sorry life took over.. Now.. I see this crazy Reiza team has a new game AMS2.. let's get it.. maybe we drive some more modern Brazilian stock cars.. noooooooo.. Let's toss in some old cars from the 1970s .. wow.. yes my era!! Love it.. let me race against a 1970 Opala.. ..figure out how to get a season going... wait!!.. there are Karts here.. I hate Karts!!... but I MUST try them!!.. UGHHH... This is just like driving around my local gocart track.. Ok focus... what?? GT3, GE, GT4.. WTF?? Ok.. let's try GTE.. oh awesome .. pick a Corvette.. .. but wait. I just watched 24 hours at Daytona.. let's throw in some DP cars.. the DEEP sound of those engines! awesome!!.. make a season.. race.. .WAIT... there are F1 cars here.. I HATE F1.. well.. no I suck at F1.. but .. wow I see 1960s F1 cars... I watch "Grand Prix" the movie, and now I gotta drive these.. try to star a season.. lol.. WAIT.. 1970s era F1!!!??? Nicki Lauda vs James Hunt!>>> OMG.. let's take these cars out for a ride.. (wife).. "we need to get the yard cleaned up and there are things that need fixing around the house".. UGH.. Ok .. I want to try some GT racing again.. but I really love the older F1 cars.. I'm going crazy... you have more?? what a Chevette???? I used to drive this car 40 years ago!!! .. let's try it.. wait.. focus.. focus.. UGH all I want to do is drive a season... and finish a season..but I'm like a squirrel being distracted by the next shiny object... I can't focus anymore. Should I slow down and pick ONE car and drive ONE series.. NOOOOO... too many distractions. The cars, the tracks.. just beautifully done.. I need to see them all.. I need to drive every car at every track.. not enough time.. Damn you Reiza!
The more content the better... especially tracks. Would love to see more European less know tracks like in RRE and more GT1 cars. Also, can wait to get rallycross content as well.
My biggest complaint is the popping clicking static audio sounds some cars have. Drives me away often. It's weird how it's only some cars and Reiza know the issue but can't seem to fix it. I don't understand
Ah yes, you bought a better GFX card indeed. Well still no AC for me or I have to race on a single screen.
One of these days I'm going to setup a troll GT3 online lobby just for fun and see how people react: GT3, some iconic European track, thunderstorm, ban all driving aids and enable realistic damage.
AC not ACC, AC runs really well even on my old card. ACC is limited by my CPU badly, AC is to a point but nothing like ACC. Yeah the new GPU is amazing, I spent nearly 5 years on the 1080ti and 60 fps, now around 115 average, it's a whole new world. I'm really happy I'm at 1080p triples so I can experience this higher fps. 1440p I'd be stuck at 60 still.
Ah yes of course. AC on triples runs fine for me as well . I’m still on the 1080ti and I guess it will be for a long time. We have other goals in our life than PC hardware atm. That said, still having a lot of fun with my current pc. Perhaps when the system really gets to old I may quit the PC gaming/racing and switch back to bench gaming. With other words, sitting on my back with a controller in my hand.
We made a massive milestone in our lives and I took this opportunity grab the 3080, if I didn't do it now I possibly wouldn't have so ran with it and I don't regret it, not even a tiny bit. I still play with a controller sometimes, like today playing Inside again such a twisted game but I could never give up my PC sim racing.
Sounds like a average NLS: AMS2 historic weather somehow fails to simuilate the events at 1st of may 2012
My complaints... Base setups....a lot of cars suspension feels extremely under sprung which causes bad handling and odd four-wheel drifting on corner entry etc.. ex. formula Vee...trying to keep that car balanced during braking and cornering is harder than balancing an egg on a spoon while rallying. Broken Karts...as I keep getting terminal engine damage shortly after leaving the pits. Audio popping and crackling on select cars AI is a mixed bag....massive inside corner cutting on opening laps, super slow in and crazy fast out, weird lateral herky jerky movements, ai not holding position and giving up the position easily when getting close, and pile ups. Shadows Anti-aliasing bad performance during weather and night racing Proximity indicator is fubar and gives false signals Numeric menu settings show different numbers from menu to menu. Ex. FFB set the gain to 70 in one menu...while driving ingame with the ffb widget enabled its shows 69? Why hasn't the 2021 stock car been added to the season mode?
