Hello, Let me start off with, AMS2 is by far my favorite sim! I however had to reimage my machine due to drive failure and now I can't seem to get my wheel to work correctly. When I go into the controller settings the wheel calibration is greyed out but I can assign the functions of the wheel and pedals but the wheel just doesn't work right. I have tried changing the sensitivity and every setting I can in both the VRS tool and in AMS2 but nothing helps the issue. There is a dead zone when turning the wheel and no force feedback. I do remember having a very difficult time setting up this wheel for the first time but don't remember how I got it working but it was working perfectly. ACC and iRacing work fine it's just AMS2 that's giving me headaches. If anyone could help me I would greatly appreciate it. I'm sorry but I am 63 and don't have a lot of knowledge when it comes to stuff like this but I really enjoy sim racing all most as much as driving my 2019 Scat Pack Challenger! Thanks, Rory
Do you need to use custom wheel and assign the left and right first? Then you should be able to do the calibration. Nice car by the way!
I'm sorry, I feel like an idiot. After I restarted my machine all is well in the world of sim racing. Thank you for the quick response and yes, I have never had so much fun driving a car. Now all I have to do is explain to my wife why after putting new tires on at 15K miles and now at 20K and I am almost down to the wear bars! :-(
Yeah I just had them balanced and rotated for the first time since putting them on. It's ok, I am going to get a part time job just to fund this fun ride!
