    Quick test..
    feels good , nice work.
i’m still a fan of 5.0.1 as a base to tune from and haven’t been tweaking much lately, but have been trying some similar changes with static force etc.

Just a quick question. Did you mean to leave that last line out? All the rest had both Left and Right but the last pair only had Left. I put it in. Don't know if it makes a lot of difference.

    (left_bump (* 0.002 (- FL_load (smooth FL_load 0.015))))
    (right_bump (* 0.002 (- FR_load (smooth FR_load 0.015))))
    (left_bump_pos left_bump_pos)
    (right_bump_pos right_bump_pos)
    (left_bump_pos (+ left_bump_pos (* (- left_bump left_bump_pos) (power 0.001 dt))))
    (right_bump_pos (+ right_bump_pos (* (- right_bump right_bump_pos) (power 0.001 dt))))
    (left_bump_pos (max left_bump_pos left_bump))
    (right_bump_pos (max right_bump_pos right_bump))

Yes i think he just needs to amend his base file. . i’ve not noticed a big difference if it’s in or out. but it’s always good to have corrected before it gets duplicated.

With this file, Damping Slider is actually Damping, is that correct? And Power Steering is done in the file itself? What does Power Steering Angle do? Thanks guys.

Hi, I just got the game, I have a T150. Is the rFuktor 5.0.3 good for it, or should I switch to Default+ or Default. I installed one of the custom files, but I'm having problems with the FFB, namely that I can't get a good sense of grip in the medium and low speed corners, and I can't make out whether the car is sliding.
    https://www.briankoponen.com/automobilista-2-thrustmaster-tmx-t150-settings/
I referred to the above guide initially while setting up my FFB
    I'm currently using rFuktor 4.6 Delta S

Thanks for the reply. And what does the Power_Steering_Angle do?

I can only presume it’s a set ratio of steering assistance .
But I haven’t touched it as the steering weight always feel just right.
Later versions added extra power steering ratios for downforce compression and such, but I found they got too light in certain situations.
I guess the only way to see it’s effect is to adjust it up and down and see how the steering changes.

Yes, this is a calculated valve. I would not change

Leaving aside the other elements concerning the power steering (weight, df, speed ...) this item represents how much force the driver must apply to the steering wheel to reach the desired cornering/steering angle ... therefore the force to reach the desired angle ... ... more or less light for the same target angle

You can try my settings, but you should have taken into account that I'm using, not very popular and probably for some good reason, v5.0.5.
    Code:
    Overall Strenght: 85 %
    Constant: 100 %
    Periodic: 100 %
    Spring: 0 %
    Damper: 0 %
    Code:
    GAIN: 100
    LFB: 50
    FX: 40
    DAMPING: 10

    Thank you Stakanov
I like it better to reduce the velocity_res_scale to 0.3
    Have a nice day Daniel

Less soft? Do you mean centering? But that is less realistic. If you like it change centering to 0.59

I like to run 5.0.1 with a set centre full .

so instead of the blended code for center full,
    i use ( center_full 1.0)
you can add it in and just disable the original with a # in front of that line for easy swapping between for testing.
also mean using lfb slider will have less effects on the centre.

So I have now got the FB for me at a nice spot where I dont get the horrid ABS jerking and the massive contact spikes plus the cars I tested with have been great fun to drive and even get some power slides going on! Here are my settings for my DD1 with the R330 wheel.

    Hi Doug,
I'm a T300 user and when I started AMS2 mid last year I used the Kuku-T300-TX\ffb_custom_settings.txt in the Silver Raw rFuktor 4.6 files. These are still available above. I liked it a lot. Then started trying other files including the 5.X.X files being posted which were OK. But then went back to 4.6 and it still felt best to me. Other settings as per here https://www.briankoponen.com/automobilista-2-thrustmaster-tx-t300-settings/ May have tweaked in game settings a bit.
    My 2 cents worth.

Anyone else finding formula cars have wicked oscillation now with rfuktor files ? Even with both hands on the wheel its very violent at times and forget taking 1 hand off the wheel - its not just the new cars either - also tried it with the previous F USA and on different tracks where before it was fine.

    Little heads up on that.

With 1.3.3.0, FFB refresh should be back to full rate.

Same for me. Especially when braking. Tried the base 5.0.3 and 5.0.5 version.

with or without is the same result for me.
