in VR sometimes screen turn white and is coming back 1-2 seconds later

From time to time I have the issue, that while a race my HP Reverb G2 turns completely white for 1-2 seconds, so that I do not see anything (race continues), then screen comes back and everything continues as normal. Sometimes I have this multiple times in a race, sometimes issue don't occur for a longer time. I noticed this only in AMS2, but maybe it's also related to my NLR motion platform. Could be loose of the tracking. Anyone else had this issue and solved it?

 

No problems with motion and the G2 here. Is the room too dark?

 

Yeah sounds like tracking issue

 

I never had this problem before, it appeared with using the NLR motion platform V3. I tried several things, but could not clearly identify the root cause. If you use also the platform manager, do you initiate Headway calibration each time?.

 

No problems for me with the sfx150. So if you dont use the NLR it works fine? Hve you checked on the NLR site to see if anyone else has had this issue?

 

it seems to be specific G2 tracking issue, due to the position of my rig in the room... I changed it and now its fine

 

I’ve had the same experience but with a black screen. I was racing in a Championship Race 45 laps total and started at P5. Worked my way to P3 at lap 28 or so then it suddenly turned black and I crashed of course. Few seconds later it was ok again. Now at P11 of 20 I kept going but few minutes later it happened again and I gave up. What a bummer. Anyway I hardly ever experience black screens they happen from time to time but not very often so it’s difficult to troubleshoot. I went into Windows power management and made sure all my USB ports won’t go into power save mode etc. Also switched to USB-C. Will see if this makes a difference but it could take weeks / months for it to happen again

 

Have the SFx100 and the G2 and never had any issue like White or Balck screen.

What I had at one point is the HDMI câble not Fully plugged on the Helmet.. left speaker was becoming fleaky and then some Power issue on the Helmet. Since I ve set it back correctly, no more issue.
