Thanks for the files and settings y'all! Can't wait to try these with my G27.

Fyi I've got the g29 working with windows11, but you need to re configure and calibrate the wheel under a new user control preset.

With custom you mean your "old" custom file from June and just adjust these ingame settings?

I think this is a useful thread, so I'll add in my experience.

The custom FFB or Default+ settings from Peter Stefani feel super light on my G920. I hardly feel like I'm driving a car except when cornering. Not sure whether this is my wheel or whether I'm just a bit numb to the subtleties. I'm generally mid-pack and about 3-5 seconds off the leader's pace on mulitplayer lobbies, so am certainly no alien.

Personally I'm running Default+ with 100/80/100/10. There's doubtless some clipping going on, but I feel like I'm getting all the forces and road noise/FX I need and it is generally a nice dynamic drive. I certainly know when I'm losing grip or going over a kerb, for example.

Can I get a graph to show clipping? Can't find it anywhere.

Running the custom FFB with these settings felt really really weak for me, I couldn't even feel curbs.
I switched to the Default+ with your suggestions and it felt much better instantly.

Use left button (maybe right, don't remember exactly) on wheel dpad to change HUD view to telemetry.

As TomP says above. Once you get the telemetry up, its the bar graph on the bottom left. Generally you want to avoid anything red going on in the right most bar (if memory serves me correctly. As a G920 user I generally have my FFB set to 85/60/30/10 and I find this gives me a good sense of whats going on. I stay away from having the grip of death on the steering wheel and keep it light as I find overly tense muscles also dial out some of the sense data.

G27 owner here. My consideration is not so much for the feeling (this is subjective) but how easy you can feel the clunkiness of the motor (at least in my wheel). My LogitechCP settings here:

    Logitech G27 Global Device Settings.png

And my in game settings: Default, 63/65/25/0/50

So, even in these settings (way below the 100% in both cp and in game) i can still feel the clunk noises (if someone hits me or if the road has any small bump, like in Donington Park, between 1 and 2 corner etc). I will have to lower the in game ffb gain to smth like 50 for not to feel it - but then - i loose all the tension feeling.

So is this normal? Maybe my wheel's ffb motor deteriorates over time and i should look for an upgrade? (i have it second handed)

This is just the nature of cogged wheels, no way around it.
The wheel is most certainly fine.

Interesting values. Way apart from mine though.

Hector do you get any clunkiness with these settings?

It is a somewhat light but stable configuration for both GT and Formulas.

Not Hector, but if you're using Peter's custom FFB for a Logitech wheel and hate the geary/clunky feel, start with gain and whatever level you like and everything else at 0. Then starting adding the effects in small amounts to suit.

Haven't tried new custom files (the one i tried felt very strong even with low values). But will try your saying, thanks

The strange thing is that i tried the 100 overal effects strength value (in logitech's cp) and i was hopping to feel the wheel "stronger". But no, had the same feeling. It was like the game was overiding the logitech's cp values with the ones inside game..maybe a glitch here?

Try deleting the AMS2 folder in documents and then trying the recommended settings.

I am not using custom files, I only make changes to the default values +.

With this setting the AMG in GT3 is wonderful to drive.

    Hi.
    G27 user here.
After the 1.3.3 update there is a new custom wheel file for Logitech users?
I use this custom profile for FFB, Excellent on GT cars, F Usa Cars and F1, but I dont have feeling with karts.
Maybe anyone have a better and newer file for logitech's owners.
    Mny thx in advance!
    :)

    Hello. I have a question.

What order are the Gain, FX, LFB and DUMP values when you put Eg. "InGame Settings 95/10/25/3".

    Thanks!!
