Just had this happen to me for the second time in the last five online races. Both times leading the race. Both times default setup so no overheating engine from dodgy cooling. No dodgy shifts up or down. No fault of my own as far as I know. Is it meant to be a random occurence? If so it is way too frequent. When your trying to build a game's audience, this happening repeatedly is a huge turn off. I almost exclusively play multiplayer and this is killing my motivation and ability to build my rating. Anyone else have any experience with this?
It's known (and not intended). Will very likely not be an issue after next game update anymore. Promising results in beta/internal testing so far!
Happened to me also yesterday in a quali session whilst on an out lap. Luckily I had time to quit the lobby and rejoin in time to set a lap, the issue never happened again.
