Hi, in our MP races it seems there is no penalty for speeding in the pits .. penalties are all on. the "stay under pit speed XX" shows up when you enter & it turns red if you speed but that's it, no penalty? Then 2 times now when pitting in practice sessions, after going through the pit menu, the AI takes over my car and continues to race & I can only sit & watch? lol.. I looked through all the controller edits to try & find what triggers the AI to take over but can't find anything related to this?? Any Ideas?? Thanks ;-)
Made no deference Track is Watkins glen GPIL ... I guess we will need to just be able to go as fast as we want in the pits BUT The AI take over is something we need to figure out ASAP! I don't see anything in the edit assignments or game play that relates to the AI taking control but a certain button combo is turning it on ..It has happened 2 times now when editing the pit stop from the in car ICP pit menu .. Pit stop takes place, then when timer runs out AI takes over and I can't get control back ..My AI is lapping faster than I can as well LOL so its totally not fair in an MP race lol..
Are you sure you are not accidentally turning on "Swap Driver" in the ICM? That is what triggers the AI taking over when you pit. If you want the control of the car back, while the AI is driving switch the "Swap Driver" and select request pit. In theory the AI should pit and relegate the control back to the player.
Thanks for the reply! Yes, this could be it! as it only happens when I'm adjusting the pit stops .. it does switch to 'Off' or 'On' & I looked at that & it was set to off during the laps the AI was driving but maybe I don't understand exactly how it works
