Report: I have suddenly started getting random disconnects during mp sessions. This started happening about a week to 10 days ago. I can join a session repeatedly but after sometimes not even an out lap I get a disconnect and get dropped out of the server. None of the other racers in this group are having this problem. No problem with my internet performance is noted and I don't have any problem with an AC mp session. I have had a disco problem for a long time, but it usually only happened the once and after rejoining all was ok and I was able to qualify and race without further issue.

Please fix that damned long-term issue, always restarting the whole session is really annoying

The Caterham class colours don't carry over when 'Monitoring'.

 

Agree - this is not the standard ghosting that happens at pitstops, it happens any lap. I've even seen it on the first lap where the "active" AI car ghosts through a whole bunch of other AI cars in order to complete its overtake of the player's car. This was in the Brazlian Stock 2022.

Not sure but could it be caused by AI cars running wide on the left as they approach the corner, crossing the pit exit line and triggering code which thinks cars are exiting the pits, so makes them ghost?

"Online Custom Event" : settings
I have to reenter (almost) every time I make a new Lobby

• Host Settings > Lobby Name
• Rules & Regulations > Minimum Rating
• Realism Settings > Damage Scale

EDIT : Realism Settings > Damage Scale is reset to off every time I restart the game or when I click on "Rules & Regulations" in Online-Custom-Events settings

Report: These cars have the 'boost button' push-to-pass feature enabled.
Steps to reproduce: Note car details on Vehicle Selection screen (Boost Button "Yes"), start session - note car has blue hybrid/battery icon/light in HUD. Pressing boost button makes blue light go out.

 

Interesting - thanks for clarifying! I've found mention of the '86 Williams having a four-way selector knob (economy mode, two race modes and one for qualifying) - but wasn't aware of a press-and-hold type feature.

Report: Hi Reiza team!

First, excuse my bad english, i'll try to do the best!

Yesterday began new championship on RFRO with Mini JCW.
We noticed some problems with blue flag:
- It's coming way too early and finish to disepear
- We don't know for what car it is when there's lot of cars. Is it a direct competitor or a car which have one more lap?
Maybe, it should be interessant to add blue flag on the top of car in the mirror or something like this? Any other idea?

Also, lot of outside cameras problems on replays.

Report: I was doing a multiclass online race at Spa and I finished 1st of the GT3 class, but I still lost point on my performance rating. I would expect that the performance rating only takes the result of the same class into account, but that's apparently not true.

Report: Very quiet chase cam audio
Steps to reproduce: be in chase cam. (My theory is that the rear sound is missing, and we can only hear the audio from the front of the car [i.e. looking in reverse])

Report: Something very wrong with the ABS/TC in this car
Steps to reproduce: Car frequently has no functional ABS. In a multiplayer session I have to set ABS to 9 or 10 to really have any kind of functionality, even at 8 it is constantly locking the front tyres. Then once the race starts, half the grid loses both ABS and TC (they are not even displayed in the ICM as options). Toggling the TC aid back to "high" restores some kind of TC, but ABS appears to remain disabled for the rest of the race. This was in an "authentic only" lobby.

Report: on the track selection screen the trackmap doesn't indicate that this layout has DRS zones, all other track layouts that have DRS zones show that in the trackmap in the selection screen.

Applicable Settings: Cockpit cam
Report: LOD issue - rear wings on F-Vintage Gen2 Model1 cars ahead disappear at 50-100 meters (cockpit view). Interestingly it does not happen during replay (cockpit view).

In normal play mode the wing disappears:



But in replay-mode you can see it much further away.



Edit: Click the images to enlarge - it might be difficult to see here but it's quite obvious in-game that the rear wings are popping in and out very abruptly. It only happens with the F-Vintage Gen2 Model1 car.

Applicable Settings: Time Trial ONLY - VR & Standard mode
Report: When in time trial mode, FPS performance drops ( around 40-50FPS) and VR drops from 90FPS to around 60FPS (with very high CPU frame timings). Issue persists after a complete rebuild of PC. Issue only exists in TT mode, practice and full field race do not have performance issues.
