But you said that you might add some more presets in there but it seems to be the same few that have been there since i purchased the Sim.
Renato said if there are well done, popular community done presets we can add them - if the author agrees. Please feel free to suggest some if you like.
This is the best one I have seen. It is very close to what I had mine set to before downloading this. Love it!
iI still cant figure out how to make them work if they aren't in the presets so i dont know of any that are good . But have tried the current presets and think from what i've read that it is possible to get better if you know how to tinker and or know how to install some user made stuff . How many presets can you have ? at the moment there are 5? right?
You can quite simply install as many as you like. They just go into: <Game Folder>\SweetFX\Presets with a txt file for the profile, and a similar named png image file for the preview.
Im a 40 yr old mechanic and this is my first pc (got it in September), still dont get it? How do i get a txt file and png image?
OK bud. The txt file is attached to this msg. Download it. Now you need to navigate to your AMS installation directory in Windows. Probably the fastest way is to right click on Automobilista in your Steam menu and choose Properties. Then click on the "Local Files" tab at the top. Then "Browse Local Files" This takes you to your main install. Next move the downloaded file "Photorealistic.txt" to the Presets folder (Automobilista\SweetFX\Presets) Next launch your game from Steam and choose "Launch configuration tool". Finally in that window choose Photorealistic in your sweetfx dropdown menu. And that should do it! Note: you dont HAVE to have a preview image so it works fine like this.
Great that works , i think . i downloaded that file and installed it and set it in the config option but couldn't notice any difference so i tried the sepia profile just because i know it makes a big change and that didnt do anything either ?? Is this sweetFX function still working or is one of my mods messing with it . Just for reference i tried standard Reiza cars and track combo's as well as mod combo's but no difference at all . Could you try maybe the sepia profile and see if yours are working ?
SweetFX never worked for me. I race in a laptop with AMD graphics card, maybe that's why. So there's a chance yours isn't working while it works for others.
Works for me on these settings. The issue can also be other overlays interfering too. Such as hardware monitors that put displays on the screen etc.
Thats quite a personal opinion, i tried that profile and for me everything is too dark, even whole menu/ui. Found out there is some "smart desaturate" setting in configuration file ( or something like that) changing that whole this dark effect vanishes almost completely but then it is the same or almost as default...
Here is mine. It adds more clarity and vibrant colors to the dull out of the box available presets without looking cartoonish . SMAA is tweaked out to ultra settings.I have an IPS monitor panel.
Yeah Domagoj I stand corrected. Frederic's Borderlands2 sweetfx is where it's at. I feel like I have gone from good to amazing graphics!
OR; get really old and falling to bits like me and all the bloody graphics look the same...just a matter of time.
amazing how personal all this is and it really depends on your monitors also, for me fredricks has too much saturation and a little too much hdr which over does the contrast levels especially on the road surface for me but i like most of it. here is mine with a little less colour and HDR Dropbox - Sniper.txt Note this will give you a small framerate hit due to HDR and Bloom
Hi to all, I have a problem with SweetFX, it's not working. It was working fine (with presets controlled from config.exe, presets bieng added, etc.) but suddenly after a driver card update this did not work. Even if I switch it manually the preset in the txt, the plugin has no effects. Has someone idea why did this happen? I've reinstalled already the sweetfx.
