I am trying the F-Ultimate Gen-2. I see all the updated ERS functions but is there an "Overtake" override button that just boosts while button is active irrespective of ERS function? I tried Boost but couldn't see any effect on battery drain (VR). Apologies if this is a dumb question
It's not a dumb question, since it is a thing that's in real life F1, but at present the F-Ultimate cars don't have the ability to deploy the battery on demand via a button. Hopefully it will come along at some point.
There's no overtake button like in the F1 games, but if you go to options > edit assignments > vehicle you can assign buttons to increase/decrease ERS. The boost button you see in options is for cars such as Brazilian Stock Car that have push to pass button.
Yes, I understand you can increase/decrease ERS, but its not quite the same thing as on the real f1 2022 spec cars so was curious about instant boost.
