Its a shame that this happens, and it will until steams/ams2 has cloud save active. It will happen with game crash/freeze, steam update causing crash, on occasion, has done so twice at least this end. If lucky you will retain licence and just lose points and stats. There has been no answer from Developer as to if its a steam issue or sim, why cloud is not active. It would be nice to switch it on!! or look into activation.
