AMS was never running smooth like other titles (GTX770, 1080p upscaled to 4k) and just recently build in a GTX1070 to run native 4k, so this should give me more fluent graphics i thought. It´s working fine in every title, just not in AMS. The steam fps overlay isn´t working in AMS so i don´t have a clue what framerates i get, but it looks like 40 fps whatever i changed in the settings (and the Nvidia control panel as well). Till the DynHUD was disabled at one test and the stuttering disappeared. Still not perfect, but playable. I can toggle the DynHUD with "Toggle HUD Tach" and it´s obvious that this HUD is causing the stutters as soon as enabled. First a total drop in fps and than jerky graphics the hole time. It´s probably just a bug with 4k-displays (upscaled 1080p as well, but worse with 2160p) and doesn´t seem DX9-related. At least Raceroom is running very smooth here. Is there another way to display the framerates?
Thanks, but they don´t show up here. I get a black rectangle in that corner and framerates go in slideshow-mode.
I´m quite sure it´s an incompatibility with the 4k-resolution and hope that Reiza is fixing this issue till the v1 release. Supporting a "new" display resolution should not be a big deal.
I'm running the game on 4K resolution with every graphics setting maxed out (including 8x AA in Nvidia Control Panel and 8x Sparse Grid Supersampling in Nvidia Inspector), still running smoothly. No stutters. I haven't tried DynHUD yet (it never showed up on my game, probably haven't set it up yet) but I'll see what happens once I have it set up. Intel Core i7-4790 Nvidia GeForce TITAN X
Do you or anybody else know by any chance what the green bar in the top left corner means (when pressing ctrl+f again)?
