SimHub reliability issues

I use SimHub to control my bass shakers whilst playing AMS 2. I do find that systems can randomly disconnect during a playing session. For example, I can start a race session and the bass shakers will be working perfectly. I leave that session and enter a multiplayer race or time trial event, and there is no signal to the bass shakers. I have to leave the game completely and restart in order to get the shakers working again.

Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.

 

Did you setup simhub with sharemem or UDP ?

I ve mine on sharemem and don t have issues. Note didn't test it yet with V1.4

 

UDP I believe as per the PDF instructions provided by SimHub. I didn't realise that there was an alternative

 

I m pretty sure you can set it on sharemem... I Will dubble check
If you have the Choice keep UDP off

I can tell you I've never had that issue.

I've had my shakers for a little over 1.5 years which is roughly 800+ hours in AMS2 alone while using the shakers and I have never had this issue. Not even once.

 

I turned the UDP output off and have just enjoyed a 2 hour session with no issues. Thanks all
