Again the formulas of the 70's are impossible... The cars seem to be running on ice. Scary and unreal. Has anyone else noticed it?
I haven't noticed. What car and what track layout should I try? With the F-Retro car and track layout combos that I've tried so far, these cars feel better balanced in v1.4 than in any previous release. And what do you mean by "running on ice"? I live up north and have found myself driving over ice too often. It is as you say: scary. Basically you're left to the laws of momentum and have to pray that one of the wheels can find a little grip so you don't end up crashing in the ditch.
I’m finding the opposite & have to run silly low downforce for a bit agility otherwise very planted ( one does have to do a few laps to hear tyres etc) the formula trainer has a bug & that just floats side to side it’s been acknowledged by devs, I wonder if your experiencing this on other cars? what’s your reference eg other sims/real world etc?
I would say the cars slide a lot compared to other sims, some more thn others. In general I feel they are too forgiving. When someone says there is too much grip, that is how I interpret it. Sometimes lurid slides are easily catachable and don't really cost you time.
