AMS2 is a simulation with great immersion and I would use it more often if I could get the brakes configured. I drive GT cars almost exclusively and use Heusinkveld Sprint pedals which work great in ACC, iRacing, rFactor2. Only in AMS2 they lock up extremely fast. If I increase the ABS, then the car does not brake but slides over the asphalt from the track. Efficient braking is simply not possible with AMS2. I have also played with the brake sensitivity a bit and tested different values between 1 and 100, unfortunately unsuccessfully. Maybe someone can give a hint what else I can check, thanks.
Maybe delete your AMS2 documents folder and start over again, because I just purchased Heusinkveld Ultimate + and they work perfectly without any fiddling with settings.
I have the T-Lcm pedal from thrustmaster which are not so bad but missing a bit a brake sensitivity on my taste. However they are cheaper than Heusinkveld .. is the Price différence really make the deal ? Are they so Much better ?
I used the Fanatec V3 pedals before and the change to heusinkveld sprint was a huge step forward. I think you will feel the upgrade very strongly from T-LCM but this is my opinion.
I understand There is always a subjective part in the feeling. Thanks for the reply ! I Will keep an eyes on it .
I can't say about the T-Lcm, I came from Logitech, but I would like to say that the Heusinkveld ULT+ throttle is totally amazing. The smoothness and detailed action is really quite a step ahead of anything I ever experienced. Especially in cars with turbo, it really helps in the control.
