Dyn Hud Issue

Hi, hoping someone can help. I've lost the dyn hud. When I try to adjust it in graphic options by selecting 'Hud type..dyn hud ' the HUD setting above it switches to the 'off' position. If I click it to 'on', the 'dyn hud ' switches back to "native'. I cant select them both to the 'on' position. I have the beta installed, and works fine there. Am I missing something?? Thanks in advance

Hum, strange, try deleting your profile and creating a new one...

 

Hi Dave. Thanks for that. Well, I created a new profile and it works. Dyn hud is back as both settings can be turned to "on". Trouble is of course ive lost all my stats, lap records etc. When I revert back to my original profile the issue returns. Sooooo frustrating. Was hoping to hear from Reiza , thought this forum was the best place to contact them. Anyway. Appreciate your time . Cheers

 

Check your PLR file. There's a very noticeable entry for DynHUD mode. If you still can't find it, compare different PLR files to see what might be what.

Edit: It's the last line: DynHud Overlay="Original"

@Heitor Facuri Cicoti I have tryed as you suggest several times, sometimes works sometimes not. The real problem?
DynHud is broken since day one...

 

Hi guys, i'm up and running again thanks. Heitor, i checked that plr file and strangely that line was missing?? Copied and pasted it back in from my beta version. Next I checked the AMS folder in user/documents/Automobilista etc and found my profile in the "screenshots" folder. Anyway, pulled it out of there, fired up AMS and I'm back to normal. Thanks to both of you for your time and help
