It's a csw 2.5, interesting that your road feel in this file is very pronounced on my wheel, I was called out on that way back when I started fiddling with the custom files ha!

Thanks for the info so a csw 2.5. I will look at your file tomorrow. I know you've been at this for a long time and I appreciate your experiences. The 4.6 file was and still is a good file today

Hello Aegunner 68! Is 68 your birth year? it is mine ;) So I rode your custom this morning. I rode with peaks of 8Nm, about your base. Very nice file, good middle, very good road feeling, there is a lot of feedback on the steering axis. One of the best customs I've tested when it comes to less power. When I work with dd forces (mine are up to about 12Nm peaks) it gets very heavy and hard and the vibrations come up like with almost all files. But I can recommend your file to everyone, especially people who own a belt base. Great job Aegunner

Thanks bud,so glad you like it. I'm tempted to stop fiddling now but saying that I changed a couple of things this morning aaargh!
Wish I could lock it away sometimes so I can't access it anymore.
Yes that is my birth year, and feel blessed to have watched home computer technology develop from the humble ZX81 to todays behemoths.

Yes buddy I was also born in 68 and experienced the technology. I will still post the latest V45 after the official update from Reiza and then it should be good again for a few months. Then we can enjoy the Ams2 in peace

Would be great if you could team up with @Kuku Maddog and merge your files somehow.
With his scrub/tear feel and your forces I think that would be the ultimate file.
Edit: Here's my latest and i've forced myself to stop tweaking anymore..

Glad we have a few folks who's older than me. I'm a 73 birth year and will be 50 years of age early next year. Nice to be in good company with this awesome sim. I enjoy your custom files and always look forward to your updates. Thanks and cheers!

I think every modder Kuku, Peter Stefanie, Alegunner, Stakanov, Danielcart......... has perfected his own custom with his base and spent many hours with it. I wouldn't feel comfortable interfering with Kukus, Peter Stefanie, Alegunners........ file. Because I don't understand your file enough and it would certainly be the same the other way around. It's not bad for people though because they can choose from several very good Customs with different preferences and tastes from the modders. I could already benefit a lot from other modders and maybe they too from me. And now, after a good 2 years, when Reiza is "final" with the tire updates and the physics, there is actually only a little adjustment left. And I would also like to thank Karsten Hvidberg again without him these customs would never have been created

I know I said I would stop fiddling but try this one.
The car feels so planted to the track now, it's giving me so much more confidence that i'm taking seconds off my lap times.
Balancing the oversteer and understeer scales helped a lot, as well as other tweaks.

hey buddy now to the file. The first custom on page 293 was really, really, really good. I was very enthusiastic about it, especially with low forces of up to about 8Nm. Unfortunately I didn't like the second file on page 293. Brutally high forces in all areas and very early clipping. I would be at the first file and maybe I would have adjusted (brake_feel_follow_weight) and (bump_feel_follow_weight) that could give your file a completely new substance. I also saw that you increased under_steer_scale, there are still many anomalies with this version. Do you only change the values in the first part of the file or also the codes? I hope you don't get mad at me Alegunner, of course that's just my opinion. If you feel like it's good then stick with it. I haven't tested your latest file yet, but if you're happy with it mate then I'd stick with it. I'll also post the Finale V45 tomorrow, it's now officially confirmed by Renato for the update. Greetings Daniel

I only change the numbers at the top half of the file, I leave the main code well alone.
Had a few sim updates yesterday so I don't know if the ffb code was tweaked at all, but the last file posted feels so nice to me.
Not mad at all bud, without constructive criticism progress is slow.
I'll look into the brake and bump feel, and look forward to giving yours a try.

Morning Alegunner! Yes, I drove the new update last night. Something was definitely changed in the defaults. But the customs are less affected. I will post my V45 to be able to enjoy Ams2 afterwards. In any case, the physics are right now and as modders we had the opportunity to make our own ffb (of course everything is subjective here too). Also for the people, test different customs and also the defaults and listen to your own feelings

    Good morning guys!
Here is my final V45-1 after the official update of Reiza. I hope it will give you and me a few months of joy. Of course, everything can be customized to your taste
    1.Customized center
    2. Customized front load feeling
    3.Adjustment of front torque
    4. Realignment and reassessment (may be interesting for other modders) of the slip_crossover values in combination with new load_power_fx values.

Best of Karsten Hvidberg V45-1 from Daniel

I'm curious, why do you set the FEI so low on direct drive Fanatec bases? I usually run with 100 FEI on my CSL DD and like the detail it provides.

Hello Guilherme! FEI is an amplifier (It's similar to in-game FX). With my custom and my dd1 base there is very bad feedback from about 30% FEI (continuous loops and grainy behavior). However, you can increase FEI if you use more damping and NFR (variant 2 in my file). But if you have a better feeling with 100% FEI then of course use your attitude (It's all a matter of taste)
