Hello I have a G27 logitech wheel. I want to increase the FX higher, the road feels great but however when over curbs or when tire is locked up or skidding, the wheel vibrates like CRAZY and loud. is there a way to lower the curbs and tire lock effects?

side question, i notice on some curbs there are barely any effects on the wheel while on other curbs the wheel will go crazy, is that on purpose? thanks

How do I reduce the strong oscillations in the wheel when I am not driving?

Even when the engine is off, there are some oscillation…

Unfortunately, this is not possible with the defaults. If it bothers you, there is an option to switch to Custom Files

Yes , that's what I meant, thanks for the info. Trying to set my simucube 2 up as accurate as I can. I think I should probably lower the torque bandwidth limit down some. I have been playing with it at 2200

I did some reading and it seems like "real feel" = 360 and canned effects are 720 or is that AMS 1 ?

    That's AMS1 stuff.

There are no "canned effects" in AMS2.

    FFB frequency is 600 Hz.

Hey guys, looking for some advice for a thrustmaster tx.
All drivers are up to date.
I'm currently using the suggested settings on the first page.

    TM control panel settings
    75/100/100/100

    In game: default
    60
    10
    50
    40

Prior to update 1.4, I believe it was 1.3.9 when they first implemented the big physics change to a few cars...the vehicles updated at that time felt great in regards tire detail, grip build up and slip.
Since 1.4 I'm really struggling with tire detail.
I can feel bumps, curbs vibrations etc.
But I can't feel what the tires are doing or the limits. It's like a light switch with grip on/off and find myself completely relying on the visuals and my ears when coming out of corners.
Overall the lateral detail just feels springy.
I've experienced great tire detail before so not sure what's happened?

I even tried the rfuktor file which I used alot in the past and know it had even more tire detail but it's giving me the same issue.
Things I've tried...deleted custom ffb, user file, recalibrate wheel.

    Any ideas?

I'm on CSW v2 and I'm using the recommended ones for the thrustmaster tx since it has similar torque and belt system. It feels quite good maybe adjust it a bit to personal taste.
65 (turned a bit down to personal taste)
    10
    50
    40
Settings of the base itself I would use the ones fanatec recommends on their forum.
Let me know what you think of it

I think Valle might be onto something. I've gone back to Fanatec recommended settings for CSW 2.5. I don't imagine v1.4 is that different is it? Perhaps the old recommended settings are still a good starting point as that's what I'm running and it feel pretty good. What would be interesting to is to have a look at what's gone up and what gone down value wise for the other wheels. I imagine the same values would likely need tweaking reguadless of well base, as it's the game code that's changed not the wheelbase drivers.

Can someone comment which values go up and which go down with v1.4 in general?

Just FYI my in driver is Fanatec recommended, and in game now is:

    Gain 70
    LFB 10
    FX 10
    DAMPING 0

Feel pretty good, not much to complain about, but I'm sure some tweeking could be had.

    Cheers Mates

I think you should add damping for an even better feeling.
I don't understand why Fanatec recommends 0 LFB, FX & Damping

I just went over to the Customs ffb thread. The latest file of Alegunner68 is a joy to drive with.
