Hi all, sorry I searched but can't find the answer. Why is single (custom) race always defaulting to Chev Cruze Stock car? The track remains as last selected but the vehicle does not. I don't even have to relaunch the SIM, just go out and back into the custom race menue and BAM it's that bloody car! LOL
Its probably a Madness BUG where the game engine for some reason instead of displaying the car currently used does default to some basic hardcoded car. In a way the opposite situation than this mandatory damage BUG in TT mode where the lost wheels dont get repaired even if you restart the session. Only advice is to accept this kind of treatment with a relaxed laugh.
I'm sorry I can't help you, I actually logged on to ask or find out about this myself. It's only just started happening for me, latest update I guess, and it is both time-consuming and a little annoying to have to re-find the car I was using every single time. It never used to do this so hopefully it can be fixed. Best, S
For me it recalls the last used car, also after the updates Perhaps you've installed the game on a spot where you don't have enough rights
I suddenly remember. This is a long shot - and I dont know if it will work. 1 year back I had the same thing happen every time I had participated in a AMS2 MP session. When I then launched a SP session the game allways launched the car I had used in the MP session. But I found out that if I selected the car I wanted to use and the crashed the car totally - and then aborted the session without further delay then from now on the game accepted the crashed car as the new "default". No Im not joking - and its easy to check out if it does help.

Sorry. But to the best of my understanding then the (total) crash + ESC and Exit made the sim/program to understand that THIS was the new "default" car. And Im still not joking

I was wrong, the last update did not fix it, still launching w/ the Chev Cruze stock car. Crashing w/ another car and exiting did not work either, but thanks for the tip anyway donaldd.
The Fix... for me at least... so I did a file verification check, and sure enough 20 files had to be re-aquired, after that it seems to be working fine, I fire it up and the last car/track combo is there. Hope that helps y'all.
Thanks Stevie, not sure what happened but it started working correctly after playing on Monaco in an openwheel of some sort. Cheers.
