    Hi
    I don't know if anyone can explain this. Been racing AMS2 since launch
    Mainly off line its true
    but a reasonable amount in servers
    I want to do more- tried to join a server and i realized my license was rookie u1500

    that is after 590 races
    showing no history
    no points at all
    40 wins 60 podiums

    so i assume offline is for
    nothing?
    you just have to join random servers and keep your nose clean to get a license?

    Just to add to this . I must have competed in literally hundreds of on line raced. less this year due to an accident. So - i went in and set up an online server. Practiced - qualified pole - no touch , no penalty didn't touch the grass & came 4th. Looked at my history and score - nothing completely blank. No score no history
    Am I missing something here?

    Is it still u1500? Maybe something went wrong when steam synced servers. Try to put AMS 2 in keep always updated, etc. Did you deleted the AMS 2 mydocuments folder by any chance?

    Hi Marius.
    Yes it is always keep updated
    Yes it has never moved off U1500

    can you tell me exactly where that folder lives?. ( I am 30 years on a MAC so the PC is a bit alien... ) I have looked in Documents > Automobilista2> there is nothing in there called mydocuments.
    I have records, save game, screen shots, ffb settings stuff like that

    C:\Users\yourname\Documents. There's a folder Automobilista 2. Back up it. Then delete it. and boot up the game
    But since the rating is stored on the Steamservers. I think there's likely have been a wrong sync between you and Steam, thus something went wrong and you lost the rating. Nothing Reiza nor Steam can do about it. Just been very unlucky.

    Could be! I am still here, and I do still race MP a lot. Track and MP are my departments. I probably raced against 99% of the MP userbase, hehe

    nothing there
    I have 3d mark folder and that's it in there ...
    is that unusual? as I have 129 games in my steam library.....

    That's quite strange if there's no Automobilista 2 folder in your documents folder. Your pc probably points it to somewhere else. Can you do a systemwide search for 'Automobilista 2' and see if any folders popup. Likely the install-folder for sure.

    Take a look at the first three. And take a look where the folders are in.

    ok the first one seems to have all the files in it

    but no mydocuments...

    Yeah. That's the installfolder. Were your gamefiles are at.

    i am sure i never deleted it
    i just did a system wide search for mydocuments on the chance it got shunted accidentally

    nothing came up

    Hmm strange. Then just boot up the game. Maybe you deleted it by accident. If the game boots up fine, and you quit the game, and boot it up again. And it stays the same. All your bindings, etc there. Then I am sure it's ok somewhere. Maybe your pc directs the documents folders to somewhere else or so.

    The rating however is stored on the steamservers, and it has been reset due a sync-error probably. nothing we or you can do about it. Have some fun MP races, and see if the rating saves correctly.

    hmm - i have tried that. Done a few MP races and it doesnt even show up in history - just blank

    shame as it look like I will never get off rookie level so a lot of servers are off limits
