AMS2 - User Livery Overrides

That's a mod car and I'm just guessing here as I've never skinned one of the Auriel's before but the mod team may not have activated the shader access... Give me 20...

Anyone have an easier way to create Reiza style livery preview images other than the tedious in-game profile shot, re-scaling, background deletion, etc, etc?

 

Nope, it is the only way to do it and make it look good.

 

I'm currently working on the next 5 Helmets.
Norris his Helmet is incredibly hard with this UV. Especially at the Spoiler. The next Helmet I will do will be the one from Albon!

I want to create outfits and helmets for Opala 86 drivers as i read they are supported, but what should i be using for it ?

 

Most of the files are very similar... It's only really the helmets and gloves that differ... There's also a vintage seat belt and a modern one... I'd go through the modern folder first...

Yeah that annoying UV is also on the Group C cars for some strange reason...

Yep did a test with the 2020 helmet, There is no space, the visor is way too big on the 10s, I'm curious how you're going to do it
And yes I want to get rid of that spoiler, It would already be something if we could make it transparent

 

Opala 86 Nascar Liveries .
4 out of 20 helmets finished so far.

 

I'm late to the party with sim racing, I went through all the main ones out there but settled on AMS2, ~210hrs later it's become an expensive past time! I've obviously had to buy a sim rig, DD wheel base, LC pedals and plenty of transducers to annoy anyone in the house!

Shame there isn't a simpler way to create liveries in this excellent sim but it is what it is. So today I ventured into trying my hand at creating my own one (since I'm now fully AMS2 obsessed!). I've never done anything like this before, never used PS or Paint.net Et'al so this one wasn't quick but I'm liking it and it gives a nod to the late great Mr Block. My next ones should be much faster now.

Does anyone know if the rest of the cars will support overrides for helmets and suits? Or can someone point me in the direction of where they've discussed their plans for them or a road map (if there is one)? Thank you.

 

Guess there once will be support for all cars, but just wait for official information from the team before painting on the wrong helmet template. The devs will be back from holidays quite soon.

 

If i remember right, you once worked on Lehto's car for Cart 98 (the woodpecker livery). Any plans to upload it?
