Hi,
In AMG GT3, there are ID cars 51-57. Is it possible to add more cars, for example, ID cars 58-60? Another question, how do you add multiple layers of paint? For example, the main colour is matt and the second is chrome.

 

You can not add more cars.

If I downloaded and installed a custom skinpack then these custom skins will disappear next time AMS2 is updated.

Im asking because a lot of as example custom formula cars skins looks pretty cool - but I dont want to clutter anything up.

 

No, the skins do not disapear.

 

But some liveries use their own preview image style that doesn't look so much like Reiza'a, most now are close but it can make AMS2 look a little messy.
The liveries are worth it, its jus a message to say it can look a bit messy sometimes depending on livery pack.

Hehe but I think Ill keep away of any possibility to clutter something up.
But the reason I asked was that I admit that some of the custom skins looks pretty realistic.
And if the default skins was more meh I would probably take the chance

 

I never drive with skins from Reiza, only custom ones, as they look much better.

 

The preview images don't look bad but sometime they are different sizes or facing the other direction or even in one instance I've seen no car image at all, just a number.

I prefer to race with custom liveries, I am only in the menu for a small timeamnd on track it is much more immersive to have real liveries.

SOLVED: Had to increase option setting environment in AMS2.


Just started testing for the BMW 2002 Turbo ID51, but this and all other liveries got a white coat in the showroom.
Why is that happening``?

 

Could be a syntax error within the XML-file.

And two other, what do the two other ones do? I can successfully change liveries, but I only use Body and Preview DDS files... Can someone explain the other two.

 

there could be more than 4
windshield (the part of the windshield you see from inside in cockpit view )
spec (specularity of material )
fresnell ( metalic , reflectivity )
Also you can decide wether a Matte, Metal or the Default shader is used.
And on some cars you can select the color of the rims.

Can someone please explain to me why the livery isn't showing at all for the Mercedes GT4? The XML doc is correct, has correct extension, first livery ID slot, but in game it just shows base liveries...
