AMS2 - User Livery Overrides

Thank you very much! Tomorrow I will release Version 1.0. Once I've done that I will start my work on the helmets sometime next week to have some days off.

 

Thank you! Your willingness to share your know how and experience is very admirable. I'm totally self-taught and have never worked with mtx files or fresnel in the past so this is more good stuff for me to learn and practice. I've already posted 11 additional new liveries for the Auriel 90 on Race Department so I don't expect to create anymore for it. But I found the paint mtx file so I'll experiment with what you sent. If I come up with something I like maybe I'll share it or just use it for my own enjoyment.

 

Probably a lot of work, but will you do fantasy liveries for car brands or suggestions?

 

I've become quite fast with liveries, I'm working smart so that it's very easy for me.
And I plan to include actually something in tomorrow V1.0, a Alternative livery for one team. Then we have the Audi Livery and the SemiSlickRacing Community livery. We'll see how many changes or new Liveries will be added throughout the year

 

I've got a BMW and Subaru waiting for me to finish them off... Might be open to other suggestions along the way...

 

Seems that this year will be awful - mostly dark (black, grey) liveries.

 

I like the black amg mercedes! Looks great with the petronas green „energy line“.

 

I also like what they did with the different colour highlights for Lewis and George.

 

Is there anyone that would be willing to have a go at the 2023 V8 Supercar liveries? I know they are Mustang and Camaro now, but would be great, as an Aussie, to have the latest liveries. All you guys doing these Liveries are amazing.

 

I hope to release Version 1.0 within the next 2 hours!

If you’re ever able to record your process for a Timelapse or something, I’d love to see it; making liveries only in 2d has been driving me crazy, especially the tedium of aligning parts across different UVs. Often feels like I’m missing something. Would love to see how you’re able to make it work.

 

I have thought about that before, this could be something for the future for sure!

 

Are you going to release them?

 

I'm planning to, but I need to check again to make sure everything is right because these are from a PC2 I once made, mate. I was a bit surprised that most of the templates are the same as those in PC2.
