Can I please be unbanned from the VRC Discord. I have no idea why I was banned?

Also for those who haven't tried it yet. The modding is actually pretty simple all things considered, and although the sounds are sorely missed on the Audi, it's still a pretty decent stand in. I really love these cars, and thank you so much for bringing them to AMS 2!

I'm having real trouble getting this one to load - following the instructions in the Readme but am having no joy. Is there a plan for mod support from Reiza?

I'm very interested in this mod but I've never installed a mod and I'm afraid I won't be able to do it. Your message does not reassure me lol.

I can recommend two videos for how to install mods in AMS2:

I hope these two make the process clearer for you guys :)

Installing mods here is a breeze, just try doing it in something like Morrowind, Oblivion, etc. You spend 2 hours installing stuff, play for an hour then entering a cave a texture has an error and the game crashes. Makes for a rather pleasant reaction:mad:.
Ironically those games are at their best with all the modding support they get.

Thanks - really keen to check this one out. Getting this kind of mod content into AMS2 will be a massive step forward.

Forgive my ignorance but are these mods scratch built or modified from an original version?

VRC build their mod themselves. The AMS2 versions are most probably reworks of their AC mods.

installing mods should be a "one klick" action done by an installer script.
All this app should ask for is "where is your steam folder" or "AMS2 folder"
I don't understand how people can be able to just hack deep in a system and on the other side force people that aren't even aware of a folder structure to install by copy&paste.

Make it as easy as possible and you'll be successful!
    Nobody needs endless Youtube sessions.
    ONE KLICK solution PLEASE

Modders can't do more than they are already doing imho !!! To get 'one click solution' they need helps from Reiza. The effort to download and update bootfiles is not so demanding! Of course, it would be easier without that, but once you've done it once, it's a trick. The big troubles are for modders, everytime AMS2 changes something 'inside' vehicles, to keep modded cars working !!!

    Hey everyone,
We've just released version 1.2 of the ARC - Auriel 90 GTO for Automobilista 2. This update includes improvements to the overheating issue that some users reported, as well as improvements to the clutch behavior of the car. If you previously purchased the car, you can download the update by going back to your original purchase confirmation. We hope you enjoy the improved driving experience!

I hope those guys convert more of their mods, especially the late 90s/early 2000 (?) prototypes.

Probably depends on how well they sell compared to how much work it is, if it's not a passion project of theirs.
