AMS2 - User Livery Overrides

Are there any plans to make car viewers of just the body/windows?

Seem to be noneditable overlays.

 

Looks like the carbon is on a different mtx file (shader) and different texture than the rest of the livery and they've overridden it in the rcf for the green livery... Could be made editable by Reiza but it'd have to be under another section like the windscreen banners...

I'm currently tinkering with these files for a project that will see the light of day soon... The possibilities of what can be edited by the livery override features are pretty cool...

 

That's about what I thought the answer might be but thankyou both weirdly these sections are on the UV, but yeah, some other file must be taking priority

 

Interesting... There must of have been a change made after the template was put together for release, like the CART helmet viewers and templates...

 

In case you want to make more liveries for the RSR: I already made some, also this Fotoquelle one.

 

Nice, u have saved my time, mate. I see u have other Samson and Vaillant variants, so I can complete them, mate. I couldn't find on RD if anyone had done livery for a '74 Porsche RSR, thanks for the info. mate.

 

Porsche 74 RSR also suffers from the no driver - bug when using custom liveries...

 

As does the M1 Procar.

 

Besides my pack I only know this here. However feel free to add more skins to this car! Just wanted to tell you so that you don't need to do doubles. Though this car is a pita to paint…

depends on your taste
If there is no entry in the override xml like e.g. in that for BMW M1, then NO

If the correct livery override function is allowed then yes... Currently not allowed though...

All those rims need is a fresnel file and they'd pop...
