What’s your FOV at?

Because the first FOV calculator gives you both, horizontal and vertical FOV. I think you’ve looked at the vertical FOV instead of the horizontal FOV. Horizontal is the same as the other FOV calculator.

 

Which online FOV calculator is correct? I assume the 75 degrees is correct for horizontal POV, as AMS2 only goes down to 35 degrees at its lowest setting....

I am using a 15.6-inch notebook and it is 1 meter from my eyes, so I cannot use the FOV calculator to calculate a suitable value like other people who use large screens.
My current setting is 78, which is exactly the same as the default setting for iracing. If I use a large screen in the future, I will definitely calculate the FOV, which can make the steering wheel in the game coincide with my actual steering wheel. Now, I can only use it as a FOV with the same suitable field of view, with the distance between my eyes and the screen of 0 cm

 

Im using a 49 inch (32:9)
my eyes are around 58cm from the screen. Mathematically it should be FOV of 92, but i found bumping it up ever so slightly to 94 seems more natural.

It is a slightly curved monitor - so that i beleive is part of that reason also.

 

90 FOV for me at present seems right
