Seat positions save file

Do we know where the seat positions for cars are saved and if it's possible to copy them over from the Beta to the release version and vice versa?

 

there isn't

 

But since it's saved it must be written to a file somewhere.

 

It is probably saved in one of these 3 files

 

yep, default.sav
So not really a good idea to copy it between public & beta as of too many other parameters that could be incompatible.
Thats why the answer is "no"

 

Anwering 'no' to two questions posed without elaborating isn't helpful at all. Work on it.
