Reiza and racecraft.online?

On the website of RCO there is a timer at the bottom that counts down after the registration for a race. As soon as the timer is at 0 the server is started and a join button appears. If def was pressed the server number is displayed. which you have to search in the game browser.
The error message I had also sometimes but after the 2nd attempt it has worked in each case. I press in the servet list not directly on Join but first on the list so that one sees the operation then on join.

 

Was registered for the Copa Classic 16.30 race at Londrina Long. Got this:

Half of the drivers didn't showed up, but AMS2 server browser is dominated by RCO race servers

 

Tonite I participated at RCO sunday cup which had more than 100 registrations.
To be honest, I did expect technical issues and flaws on AMS 2 and RCO side.
But to my huge surprise, everything worked flawless.

So RCO really can work as an iRacng light tool.

Really hope Reiza reacts in some way.
Thanks @roszman for your hard work and efforts to give us an iRacing like tool free of charge.

 

I´ve been there and have nothing to complain... everything worked well.
Btw, I guess that was the highest rated server I ever raced in ams2. almost full of S card

 

Too close to the F1 race.

 

Registered to the service slightly in advance and planning to try it out in near future. Found out about it from the youtube video mentioned in this thread and noticed that immediately it got notice in some AMS2 related communities and generally the feedback I have read has been positive, even though bugs are often mentioned (not sure which complaints are AMS2 side and what in RCO code though).

As for the request in the original post, I would really hope Reize is in contant with the developer and in general with these different MP race organizers/communities. Similarly as they have now started to embrace the modding side of things, it would make sense to start embracing the MP related side of things to grow the popularity of the game. Even if they would not be interested co-operating with the RCO, it doesn't take much time let inform the developer about that, it's just part of engaging with the community.

I doubt Reiza have "given up" on the MP side as some state, but clearly a lot of other stuff have been more of a priority.

 

Had my first race yesterday, along with one other 'human' who was faster than me, but the AI kept things interesting. Everything went flawlessly. Great work! I hope you stay with it, whatever happens. Once you have enough drivers populating the higher rankings, you could well be in a position to make some money and still be way cheaper than iRacing.

 

I used the term 'given up' earlier in the thread, but it was in relation to me giving up on Reiza doing anything about MP in a timely manner.

Of course there are multiple facets to develop on the game, but multiplayer is a pretty key one and it has been neglected for years now. It seems to be the lowest priority

 

What about all the other comments, ? Shouldn't you add both sides of the stats? RCO is Very Professionally executed and fun imo

Why the Silence Reiza ? have some respect for this gentleman and at the very least tell him your not interested. I can't believe the Arrogance of silence. Sorry if I get this dude in trouble but that silence pisses me off.

I briefly posted about this on the RCO discord, but it’s always interesting to see how sometimes a dev team will have a clear idea of where they want to take an aspect of their game (quite legitimately) and yet the community intervenes and says nope, this is what we want instead and run with something else.
I think we could have just such a situation here with RCO.
The best way anyone interested in supporting either @roszman or Raceceaft.Online is to continue racing on the service. Spread the word and get your friends involved.
In my personal opinion, it’s by far the best implementation of pickup, organised, relatively clean racing I’ve yet come across for AMS2.

 

Multiple practice servers can make server browsing difficult, I get it. Thing is that I don't have tools to make it less visible, ams2 server browser don't have them too.

I've read few similar comments about too many practice servers and I've reduced their numbers at the expense of connectivity (drivers from multiple regions are now grouped in the same practice server vs practice server per region as previously it was)
Was it a good call? Probably no since now I would need to deal with people complaining about the connections issues in practice servers and it can reduce rco driver base :/

No there are no AI in practice servers and I don't spam ams2 server browser with practice server to make some evil joke, rco needs them for www.racecraft.online/faq#CLC.

No I haven't heard back from Reiza, but maybe they are busy with cooking something special for us

Don't fight, this energy can be used for racing
