How to fix F-USA 2023 steering bias towards the inside?

Like everybody else, I'm trying out the F-USA 2023 on the Indianapolis Oval.

The car lists too much towards the inside (the left) on the frontstretch and backstretch for my driving style.

I'm aware that on a real DW-12 running this course, setups are such that a neutral steering wheel causes you to list slightly towards the inside, which helps the cars turn in to the corners faster and ultimately makes for a faster lap. However, the amount of listing is a matter of driver preference, and different cars are set up to list more or less according to what the driver wants.

What should I change about the default setup to reduce the amount of listing and make the car go straighter on the straightaways?

    Thanks.

Make the setup symmetric if you don't want the leftward bias. And I would like to see a citation for the IndyCar driver who uses symmetric setups on ovals "because of driving style".

Reread the post before responding in a rude way. The person asked how to "reduce" the asymmetric effect. Some people, like you, forget about respect when it comes to the internet.

The more symmetric you make the setup, the less you drift to the left. The setting of the weight jacker also influences this, but the weight jacker can be set inside the car during the race.

But, the less you drift to the left, the more you have to steer into corners, meaning you use up more of your tire durability, generate more tire heat and probably also scrub off more speed. This will have more effect in longer races and less in shorter ones, obviously. How much this all comes down to driver preference, I don't know.

What the real life Infycars do (or did) and for example iRacing simulates is a steering wheel offset, where the car drives straight with a straight wheel, but due to the offset, the straight sterring wheel actually steers to the right a bit to counteract the asymmetric setup and the resulting drift to the left.

This is probably what you are actually looking for. I don't think AMS2 features it, though.

they do not. It’s been a slow start on ovals, just started single qual laps(haven’t tried yet) so it’s going to be a slow haul I’m afraid.

To the best of my knowledge RL IndyCars are not only assymetric in the settings but also in the suspension HW of the car.
Conserning AMS2 you are not even able to make as example the camber settings positive on the inside wheels(mostly the left) like all oval cars use in RL!
Pretty meh if you ask me.

It will always pull to the left due to tyre stagger...
