Dear racers, I am thrilled to extend an invitation to the Best of Summer 2023, the ultimate racing event of the season. What can you expect? An exhilarating competition comprising two races: Race 1 and Race 2. The second race will be held in reverse order, adding an extra layer of excitement. Each race will last forty minutes, pushing your skills and endurance to the limit. This invitational event will bring together the crème de la crème of Automobilista 2 racers. To qualify, drivers must demonstrate exceptional speed and consistency during races. A minimum rating of 1900 is required, or community recognition as a highly skilled and talented driver, or have proven the ability to consistently race against AI opponents set at a difficulty level of 110-120. We are looking for drivers who possess racecraft knowledge, determination, situational awareness to avoid collisions, and the ability to make strategic passes. Additionally, excellent concentration is highly desirable. The event schedule will consist of a one-hour practice session, followed by a 20-minute qualifying session. As you know, there will be two 40-minute races, with a 30-minute break in between. The setups will be customizable, as the ability to tune a car is a testament to a driver's talent and knowledge. There will be a maximal grid of 16/18/20 drivers. Class still to be confirmed. Now, you may wonder, "When will this thrilling event take place?" The Best of Summer will be held during the last weekend of August, as summer winds down. This timing allows participants ample time to enjoy their holidays, recharge, and return to the track at their very best. The winner will not only claim the ultimate prestige but also be crowned the champion, holding the coveted championship title for one year until the next event. That sounds great! Adding Tex to the list. I am awaiting the acceptance of the other invitations will so we will have an awesome tight, but talented pool of drivers.

Things might change by the time you run the championship but currently reverse grids are not possible in AMS2. Nor are multirace events. If it does not change before the events you will need to either: * Manually do the reverse grid (not ideal) * Just run two separate races with their own qually sessions.
