Formula Retro Gen2

Since the 1.4.8 update the skins are not pulling through for the Formula Retro Gen2.

The file was originally F_Retro_G2 which was odd any way as all the others Formula files are not abbreviated.

Can anyone help confirm how to resolve?

There is a new folder. I'm not at my PC but I think it's called Formula_Retro_G2, move everything there. You'll also need to change the AI name to same.

 

Thanks for the comment, I tried that but it didn’t work.

 

Did you change the Livery override XML? I had the same issue with the 1978 skins, changed the XML file to formula_retro_g2 and that fixed the issue. It was only the generic car that changed the folder name.

I am going to release an update of the F1 1978 skinpack. It will include F1 1978 helmets in it aswell.

PS : if only the Brabham BT49 would go in a class of its own

 

In the modding side you control these variables...

I think you mean the livery override of the games content...

They work as described above...

 

And then there's the BT46b to think about, which only had the one race lol

You do have me thinking about a modded version with a full field and proper performances...

We could have that those BT49s running against proper period cars...

Well that just opens the door for a 79 season someday maybe??.

Also with the custom AI we can get rid of Nilton Pereira and have the BT46b only.
