I think this technique is called "thumb steering"

When the driver cannot HANDle it anymore.

Report: At a certain steering angle the driver's hands of the Lotus 23 are literally blocking the view ahead. May not be a problem for people using a single / triple monitor and have the wheel animations turned off, but for VR users like me this is a big problem when trying to drive this car.

• tyre wear/fuel usage labels overlap each other
• Real weather was selected for allo sessions. It feels like cheating that you can see it here. Can it be hidden? Or maybe only one weather preset so it looks like a forecast?
• Can we have an icon for private qualification?

 

Thanks, turned out to be the document folder. I deleted that after the update and the game started working again, thanks for responding, much appreciated...

Report: All debris from an accident remain on the track even after the FCY.
Steps to reproduce: Have an accident

Cars Used: F-Classic Gen 4
Applicable Settings: Mandatory pitstop with 1 tire change
The problem: On the FINAL LAP everybody from the AI drivers gets disqualified.

Track & Layout Used: Road America full course(all Tracks)
Car Used: USA 2022/CART 98
Applicable Settings: practice 1hr a Qual 15- Race 90, cloudy sunny
Report: Debris left on track. Wheels & tires missing after repairs
Steps to reproduce: Cars crash where’s wings come off, wheels, cars will drive without such parts. This is more of an open whee issue

 

Track & Layout Used: Nuerburgring GP Layout; Barcelona no chicane.
Car Used: Formula Ultimate Gen2
Applicable Settings: Single Championship, 18 laps, Mandatory Pit Stop, 2 tires minimum; At Barcelona tire wear 3x, at Nuerburgring tire wear accelerated.
Report: At Barcelona almost all AI cars were disqualified. They made one pit stop and changed tires from soft to soft. I made one pit stop and changed from medium to hard and I was fine. At Nuerburgring some cars were disqualified. I made two pit stops, changing tires from soft to medium to medium. Before the last lap I was called in for a pit stop, ignored it and was disqualified.
Steps to reproduce: I'd say you can pick any circuit and set the mandatory tires to yes and the minimum tires to two (maybe more) and you 'd see DQ's.

 

Track & Layout Used: Silverstone 1975 with chicane
Car Used: Formula Retro Gen1
Applicable Settings: 15 min race against AI
Report: Dirt map seems excessive for a short race (see photo) considering I didn't leave the track at all. AI cars only have a few specs.
Steps to reproduce: Drive the race. Stay on the track! Compare how dirty your car is compared to AI

 

EDIT2: Apologies, it was a setup problem after all !

Track & Layout Used: Oval variants of Daytona, Indianapolis, Gateway, Fontana
Car Used: Chevrolet Omega Stock Car
Applicable Settings: None
The problem: Drafting doesn't work ! Neither the AI nor the player can draft behind each other in order to catch up when driving the oval tracks. I was following the driver ahead of me as close as the picture shows but the gap never closed down.

I updated my post, my apologies, it was a setup mistake after all. Thank you for pointing me in the right direction.

 

Just got done with an AI race with custom AI drivers, otherwise completely vanilla game. I had the same issue. I thought it might be due to wet tires being used (everyone still made a pitstop) but it seems to be a bigger issue than that. One more piece of info from my side: I had it happen twice, once when I was disqualified along with all the AI and another time when I and another AI survived the wrath of the stewards while the rest got DQed.

Used the Formula Ultimate Gen 2 around Adelaide Modern with live weather (hence rain).
