    Hi Guys

Super excited about the new update news that has been shared and the Le Mans addition. I made a video on it and my thoughts at the end on how this could go against the Le Mans Ultimate game and even put a spanner in the works on the planned AC2. I would be interested to hear what you all think.

Earth will be likely there for another 4 billion years, until the sun will changs into a red dwarf and consumes the planet. Then the sun will exist for a 2 billion years more until only some further planets in our sol system will go rogue into the milkyway. Tops that a supernova or asteroide or volcano's or iceplanet will wipe out life multiply times on the planet. The moon is also vunerable if the moon goes planet will go rogue too.. :D Whoops. So big offtopic here. Sorry OP :oops::oops::oops:

I don't think the coming update (and all that will follow) will have any impact to other titles.
For much foolheads AMS2 will stay "PC2,5" forever, but i dont bother and have fun with it...

Right! No insulation material is so stable to withstand a nearby supernova!

Yeah that is one of the annoying things. And no matter how you explain to these people, they STILL will refer to it as PC2 with a reskin.
I do think it will impact Le Mans ultimate. I wonder will S397 try to get in the way, like they did with the original FUSA 2023 car by running off an telling tales to Dallara (allegedly).

Well, at least the others will have to compare their "work" with the REIZA stuff.
And maybe some time in the future, AMS2 will be famous to have

    - Better GT3 than some special GT3 game...
    - Better Open Wheeler than some annual distributed F1 game
    - Better competition stuff than special "LM" game
    - Better BTTC than ???
    - Better Rally action than some "Dirty" game
    - Better online competition than some other race renting proggie...

Well, the latter im not sure about *rofl*

And NO, im not a "REYZA FUNBOY" who has to be beaten with a fish ...... ähm, maybe a little bit.

In real i own every mayor racing sim title eccept I-Racing and enjoy every title because of its unique features. But nevertheless, AMS2 is my daily sim to relax after a long day of working.
    That's what counts to me...:hurrayreiza:

Hard to say if it'll impact AC2 at all since it's quite far away from release. Perhaps it could impact LM Ultimate in a positive way, if endurance racing ends up being really well done in AMS2 then perhaps S397 will do their best to step things up, otherwise LM Ultimate will look a bit pointless.

It is already pointless since it basically is just RF2 with some better graphics

Six months to release is quite a long time given how fast the online world travels now.
The new dedicated simulator will likely have rules and an atmosphere built around the main event.
Here at AMS2 we have a multiclass simulator.
It will certainly have an advantage from the arrival of Le Mans, but to keep fans quiet, mods are more useful in this period.
Mods give new fun and variables to try out, while developers can take less time to deal with the basics of a simulation: physics and car behavior.
I always remain confident because Reiza, with his times, always reaches the finish line and always gets on the podium.
As an enthusiast and lover of AMS2 I would like LE Mans and related cars tomorrow morning.
I'm less interested in off-road, although it will probably be very popular, but it seems to me a slight dispersion compared to the main objectives that are still missing to make AMS2 a complete title.
    Career
    pilot box communication
    Replay management
Personal best memory on each track
I know that Reiza will manage everything well so I remain confident.
And I enjoy all those wonders they have given so far.
    :)

Or.....you can setup a Championship after the "Imperio Endurance Brasil" with P1/P2/GT3/GT4/OpenGT :p

Realistically speaking yes, I don't see much point in LM Ultimate being a separate thing. Perhaps it being a standalone game will bring more awareness to it? Maybe its a way of prepping for rF3? Unsure.

It being standalone could also be a license thing.

Hopefully they've shaven off the bad bits of rF2. It's definitely based on rF2, speaking as someone who tried the demo, but if they can streamline the menus and setup along with making the endurance features more prominent, while keeping the fundamental driving experience solid, I'm personally interested.

Its a separate thing as its a money grab and purely commercial I think. If they loaded DLC, it could sell for spare change. Remember, they have the GTE, LMP2 already on RF2. And le mans.
So the only thing they could monitize are some hyper cars.
But a new game with the same content just rebagged....well now that already 60 euros or dollars per unit. If not more. And no doubt they'll ship update dlc each year to keep the WEC updates etc.

That's definitely understandable. I suppose for me personally as long as there is other games that deliver a really good Le Mans experience (like AMS2 hopefully) then I wouldn't say I really need a full price WEC branded game. But of course other folks might feel differently.

NASCAR fans just got the 2022 Roster Update added to MSG's 2020 season game. (Real NASCAR is halfway through the 2023 season.)

MSG might promise yearly updates to the WEC content. But I wouldn't say no doubt.
