Hi, I just bought the game, thinking it would run really well on my new 4090. But it runs absolutely terrible. I can run ACC at highest settings at 90fps (which is known for its bad vr performance). I simply run a practice session, and i get huge frame drops. I have set all the settings to super low, no ss. Still huge framedrops and the game looks very bad. cpu : i9-12900k (at 5100Hz), gpu : Asus ROG strix 4090 VR: Oculus Rift Anyone has any idea what i can do?
Definitely something not right there, stick at it you'll get fantastic performance once you get to the bottom of it.
Try using the OpenXRToolkit and open composite it makes a massive difference.... ithink it works with Oculus but not sure? I can run in any weather with a full grid, on pretty much max gfx settings and get 90fps constantly. Happy to share my settings if you need them
Try going to the desktop, switch to another task, than switch back to the game (click the gamewindow/screen to make sure it is on top). Maybe this helps.
Rtx 3080 here and I get great performance Turn down super sample & almost every graphic setting to min / off win win
