    New version 11.4 is here.

You can get it from RaceDepartment.com at Telemetry Tool for AMS2

It took bit longer than anticipated to get it out of the door.

Notable addition is rFactor 2 support.

    For AMS2
    • New Shmem Relay using v12 specs. If you use AMS2, update the AMS2 relay from the bin directory in the .zip.
    • New trackmaps + cars' data
    • Clutch data in the Driving pane
    • many little tweaks and fixes
If you use AMS2 or ACC, it might be good to run the Tools --> Manage DB data -> Fix database data to fix odd issue with car ids.

For update, replace the Telemetry.jar. For AMS2 users, replace also the AMS2 shmem relay.

For new install, just unzip where-ever you like (either in Program Files or any other directory). Run using the runWinLauncher or the game specific .bat files. On first run the Tool will ask location of the data files.

Unless there is a true showstopper, this should be the last 11.x release and next version will be 12.0, when F1 2022 is out.

See the ReadMe.txt for full list of changes.

    Enjoy, and get faster.

    New 12.0 version is here.

You can get it from the RaceDepartment.com

Notable additions are F1 22 support and the move to Java 17 (new custom JRE included).

Notable AMS2 related addition are the trackmaps for the new Argentinian tracks.

I also added settings for the "Steer on full brake warning". This will flash top bar in red, if (brake > Brake Treshold & Steer > Steer Treshold). By default the warning triggers, when there is 95% or more brake and steering is more than 5% (left or right). This can be disabled or the values can be adjusted from the settings.

For in-place update, just unzip all stuff to the place, where you had old installation. There are new files in the tracks and bin directory + the Telemetry.jar has to be updated.

For clean/new install, just unzip anywhere in your system (can also be under 'Program files'). The Tool will then ask at the startup for the location of the datafiles.

Any questions, please let me know

    Enjoy, and get faster ...

I did not want to do new release for just few tracks, so there are updated trackmaps for the Buenos Aires 'No 6' at Telemetry Tool - Addons

There is a link to .zip with the new trackmaps for F1 22 Miami and for the both Buenos Aires No6 tracks. Renamed the 'No 6' to 'No 6S' and the new 'No 6' as 'No 6T'.

Just download and unzip to the Telemetry Tool install directory to use them

    Happy driving ...

Notable AMS2 related addition is the trackmaps for the Buenos Aires 6 track(s). Renamed No 6 to No 6S.

Also added to Launcher the option to run the feedTester and did a lot of online database cleaning. The data is now viewable at RacingGame Telemetry - laptimes

Hello. Awesome tool. Please, is there a way to see ride height telemetry? I am toying with wet setups for aero heavy cars and I am clueless with how to check out if the water underneath the car stalls the aero or not.

At this point I am not storing the ride height data on the telemetry data.

But what you can do, is to look at the 'Suspension position' data (Susp pos in Workspace) and at the same time look at the Pitch values. I am no expert on this, but did some reading, so if the car stalls due some reason, you would expect the pitch value to remain stable during the period and the suspension position also maybe relatively stable.

You might create in the Tools' workspace tab a new workspace with the suspension position, pitch + maybe also roll + vertical acceleration (which might also give indications on the stall). Would be great to see an example of how these graphs look when you experience the aero stalling, as I would expect one should be able to notice it when driving.

    Cheers.

    Telemetry Tool v12.2 is out

You can get it from the RaceDepartment.com

    Notable AMS2 fixes/changes/additions:
    • Updated Relay to 'AMS2 Shared Memory 13' version. This brings the FCY data to the Tool
    • Added new trackmaps and cars added in 1.4.0.0, 1.4.1.0, 1.4.2 and 1.4.3
    • Fixed event names, which were sometimes not showing properly
    • Removed non-used events from the Lap Data view
    • Added FCY data to the tool, e.g. FCY will be shown at top like SC would be shown.
    Other notable fixes/changes/additions
    • many F1 22 fixes
    • a lot of rFactor2 fixes
    • Added new graphs to workspace. Also made the X-Y Plotter and Histograms use the same graphs/traces as Workspace
    • Many little fixes and tweaks. Check the ReadMe.txt for the list of changes/additions
    How to Update

    Update from 12.0/12.1:
    • Update the Telemetry.jar
    • There is also new AMS2 relay version, so update the bin/ams2_relay, if you use the Tool with AMS2
    • Update at least the tracks dir data for AMS2 and Kartkraft.
Update from pre 12.0 version, just unzip the whole package on top of the old installation. You can do this also if you are updating from 12.0/12.1.

To adjust/fix the track/vehicle ids, it is a good idea to run Tools -> Manage DB Data -> Fix database data

    Clean/New install

Clean/New install. Just unzip the package somewhere in your system (can be in 'Program Files' or somewhere else). Then run the tool with runWin.bat. On first run the Tool will ask for data location etc.

    Mac/Linux

Mac/Linux install, check the ReadMe.txt for more details.

    • RACE TIMING: You can now select any driver and show their laptimes from the race.
    • COMPARISON PANEL: You can now adjust the width of the data visual line. Makes easier to work with that data.
    • Fixed race history saving. It should now work well in all games even, if you just do one race and quit the tool.
    • RaceRoom Racing Experience support added
    • AC multi-player support, i.e. data is now collected from all cars in the race, when you install the plugin. Also a lot of changes/fixes relating to multi-car data and other data. This works only on the PC version.
    • rFactor 2, new plugin, which should put less stress on the network connection + plenty of fixes/tweaks
    • A lot of little tweaks/fixes here and there.
See the ReadMe.txt for the list of all additions/changes.

Hello man, it's ok, acquaintance we have the same last name, lol. Man, I would like to know if you have support for race director, because I am creating a stock car pro series league in Brazil, and for transmissions it would be of great help to have this information.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hmm,

I don't directly support that, but in the Tool there are many features, which you could use to help the race director. And if there are good ideas to support such activity and they are easy to implement, then yes.

If you tell me what you are looking for, I might able to point you what things are there in my tool. I know some league people use the http-server in the tool to send data to viewers.

    Cheers.

Hi, so I'm reaching out to Reiza to find out what information the spectator mode has available.

But seeing the difficulties of leagues in using Reiza data. We, as organizers, have to see amounts of pits, p2p (StockCar and IndyCar), sectors, fast laps, pilots' telemetry (so that we can verify the irregularity). Number of laps, Fuel.

    I'm waiting. Strong hug

    Hi,

The telemetry for the other cars in AMS2 is quite limited. I don't know if the spectator mode has anything else, than the same UDP/Shmem data that is available normally.

For AMS2 (and PC2, which has similar data), in the opponent laps I can only save sector, laptime, lapdistance, speed and coordinates and the sector times. These should be good for detecting anything odd, like too high top speed or acceleration (derivative of the speed).

So with the new 'Multicar Session Data', you could see for each driver laptimes, sector times, pitstops, time lost on pitstop, this stint average, last 3 laps average and average of proper laps.

I know that for some leagues, which use my Tool, they have one driver, who starts from the end and after first lap drivers into pits and stops there for the race. Then you can use the saved opponent lap to see, if e.g. on laps 9 and 10 you suspect someone did something odd, you load those laps to the Tool and check 1) driven lines 2) statistics and then 3) the new 'multi-car session data'.

The fuel data is not available in AMS2 for other cars.

    Cheers

There are trackmaps for the new RX tracks in Telemetry Tool - Addons

It is missing the SPA RX track, as I do not have access to my rig at the moment. I expect to put out the Spa RX trackmap in few weeks time, when I access to my tools.

You can just unzip the files to your Telemetry Tool install directory.

    Cheers

    Hello Iko!

Your tool is awesome, I really love it! Recently, I have been able to adjust the car height on an oval - it was so easy to do. Thanks for your tool!

I cannot find an option to display the tyre temperature regarding I-M-O values (inside-middle-outside). What am I doing wrong or is it simply not implemented (yet)?

All the best and keep up the good work!

    Hi,

For AMS2 there should be the IMO temps
    - In driving pane as real-time values
    - In workspace for data created with any v13
    - In statistics table graphs for the IMO spread and the IMO values

Make sure, you have both relay and UDP data on.

    Cheers.
