My issue about screen freezes is different from others in that it is not VR or multiplayer related plus it is consistent. Pretty much anytime I runoff track or just before or after hitting a barrier, my screen will freeze for about 15 seconds. I also noted it happens during a pitstop. It seems like it freezes when the graphics are especially intensive. Any suggestions? PS: It seems like if I run off 1 or 2 laps into a run it won't freeze. I have yet to determine how far I have to go before the freeze begins to occur.
First start with a Steam Verification, then a Windows RAM check. Then lower al graphics settings to minimums and see if issue is gone. If gone, then slowly raise graphics until you reach the limit of performance. Things like Pit details and extra mirror details will tax the system. And set UDP to off.
You should also check how many unnessesary background processes your system have running. They tax on the useable resources.
Ahh come on. Im trying not to answer like an ass - but check my specs: My system: Win7 Ultimate SP1 OK? ByTheWay: This is the largest font
OK sorry. I didnt think of using so modern a thing to check my humble comment. ByTheWay: But it is allways a good thing to check your prescriptions - so you can read the small letters in any contract.
