    Hello. i'm using HF8 and so dissapointed with default SW.
    so i tuned with simhub and this is my profile.

    0. install and open latest version of Simhub / connect HF8 via USB.
    1. Shakeit Motors / Effect Profile/ Profiles manager/ import profile
    2. Motors output/ select HF8

    + if you have fanatec V3 pedals,
    i strongly recommend you enable All pedal's susspension travel vibration
    these will be great combo!

    I hope it helps other users. cheers :)

    Thanks for sharing Young :)
    You're missing the subtle tickle of vibration in the seat of your pants that you get accelerating. Here's my profile, try it and see what you think..

    I tried both. One has too low effects 25% or so and I couldn't feel anything.
    The other is better but has wheel lock on two different settings with the result being the mono one cancels out the other that has wheel lock set to the front wheels.
    Here's mine. Gear Shift on all motors, Rumble (kerbs) @ 100% on the four seat motors, Redline rpm in the upper back motors, Wheel Lock in the front two motors, a bit of road feel, and lateral vibrations in the lower back for corners.

    I only thought about this afterwards but I sit on a cushion over the HF8 and needed to balance the vibrations together with those of my steering wheel and my motion rig.. That's why they are so low. It can quickly get too much if I turn everything up.. YMMV

    Is HF8 worth of 250eur ?

    Had two Buttkicker Gamer 2 with my ex-rig, those were okay until installed motion and there was enough effect for rumble etc.

    Sold whole rig and now I play at living room couch.
    I have DD-base and windsim but some extra immersion would be welcome.

    AMS2 can be a bit chatty when it comes to wheel slip, with some car/track combos giving constant feedback. This plugin works well to just restrict it to the times you want to feel it.

    GitHub - viper4gh/SimHub-Plugin-CalcLngWheelSlip: Plugin for SimHub. It calculates longitudinal wheel slip by the relationship between Tyre RPS and Car Speed and provides the result as new properties.

    Here's an example formula for the front left tyre:

    Code:
    if($prop('ViperDataPlugin.CalcLngWheelSlip.Computed.LngWheelSlip_FL') > 0)
        return $prop('ViperDataPlugin.CalcLngWheelSlip.Computed.LngWheelSlip_FL') * 100

    I would have thought so, yes. No changes to the way telemetry works as far as I know

    I just got my HF8 and being a noob have been practicing GT4 cars. Ginnette felt fine (no plugin) and but then I tried all the other cars and yep constant rumble. And only have lockup and slip assigned.
    So looks like I need the plugin.
    Thx!

    @MickT
    So I added the Plugin into SimHub. Read instructions and messed with it for a hour or so. I can't figure out how to add these new slips/locks to my HF8 in SimHub.
    Sorry if it is obvious. But this all new to me and I am a bright guy. lol

    In the Effects Profile, add a new Effect, choosing custom. You can then add the formulae into the Effect Settings fields.

    Thank you @MickT
    I assume that is JavaScript and seemed to kinda work, but very weak and/or to delayed or minimal. I pasted in the bottom of the JavaScript window (not the top "Run Once") and of course edited for (FL, FR, RL, RR). Is that correct.

    Meaning I have a hard time actually trying yo get the tires to slip in testing with different types cars. Where as before they always seems to slip (prior to this plugin - which was why it was made of course). I think something in between seems right.

    I can't say for sure as I can not seem to get the HUD working (being on VR complicate that part) so I can see it slip and the figure out if I can feel it at that point. Then figure out what settings to make it hit the haptic/rumbles better/harder/sooner etc.

    I don't want to bother you with any of this. You've been kind enough to get me this far. TY! But do you know of any videos or tutorials to help me setup the calibration buttons (to recalibrate) and the HUDs. I've been looking all over and coming up short and strangely the GIT info and docs are very lacking. And I'm a very technical guy, but admittedly a little new to SimHub so that prob. doesn't help. lol

    But anyway If you do have some extra time and think can help. I'd gladly compensate you for your time. Drinks are on me! lol. PM me if thats the case.
    Looks like you have a Quest 3 same as me, and similar PC specs:
    9800X3D, 5070TI OC, 64GB, MOZA R12, 3DRap Pedal Rumbles, NLR HF8 Haptic Seat Pad

    Thanks again!
