    Hi guys,

Looking for a way to explain this, but driving with my new wheel, I notice the car is "bouncing".
It is a stiff sprung car and the track may be rough, but other car/track combinations do this too, be it a bit less.
The problem is: the spring of the car you feel so much, especially in corners, there is no other feel coming through anymore. The car is "hopping" through the corners lets say.

Now Fanatec has a lot of settings, also a "recommended settings" page and I tried them all, but I'm lost, I can't seem to get it right.

There must be more people to have this sensation and (hopefully) overcome this: I thought I'd ask ;)
Would you please share some settings with me?

    Thank you for responding mate!
The wheel is a Fanatec Podium DD1 with the Clubsport Formula V2.5X
At the moment the car is the Mercedes GTE on Kyalamy, but as I said: it is on all tracks and with (almost, haven't tried ALL ;) ) all cars.
As a base, I took the settings Fanatec recommended, but meanwhile I have been sliding all settings up and down......
    Those settings are:
Podium Wheel Base DD1 / Podium Racing Wheel F1® PS4™

    Tuning Menu Settings:

    • SEN Auto
    • FF 42
    • FFS Peak
    • NDP 22
    • NFR 1
    • NIN 6
    • INT 2
    • FEI 100
    • FOR 100
    • SPR 100
    • DPR 100
    • BLI User Preference
    • SHO 100
    • BRF User Preference
    In-Game Settings:

    • Gain: 65
    • Low Force Boost: 0
    • FX: 0
    • Menu Spring Strength: 0

My personal settings I use do not much differ from that. I use ingame GAIN 45 & DAMPING 45, and Fanatec setting FF 50. Reason for that is, that in the past Reiza devs suggested for DD wheels ingame to not go higher as max 50 with GAIN, and than adjust Fanatec FF to ur liking. Don’t know if this is still the case, but I kept it.
While the Fanatec suggested settings u find online and interceptor posted are quite old (2021 I guess) they still work great for me. Except ingame DAMPING. This tech changed from Reiza dev side (in comparison to 2021) and I would recommend to use it. Default should be 50. Play from that to ur liking. If u think “everything is so damped now”… try to pay attention to “damped steering feel” next time u drive a normal street car IRL

Ok, why are you not setting the FFB to your liking?

There are only a few settings in the Fanatec menu that help to add forces if the game does not have them or if you want to add some. The new DD is more or less the same as the old DD1 but should have faster responses (even I don't feel them).

This settings are only coming from the wheel base and add to the FFB from the game:
    FF 50-100 -> Base force
NDP 10-20 -> Damping from the base on fast movement
NFR 2-8 -> Resistance from the base
NIN 2-6 -> Helps to overcome the NFR resistance (use 4 for light wheels)
INT 4-6 -> Smoothing of rougher FFB feeling
All other settings (FEI, FOR, SPR, DPR) at 100.

    I like NDP 14, NFR 6, NIN 2, INT 2 combined with gain 50 and damping 40.
You could also add more in game damping and reduce NDP.

Here is great baseline for Automobilista 2
For ClubSpot DD + 15Nm l will add in game settings to but can be personal preference ingame. Down below you should use fanalab to apply an damping effect to to much just enough see file This will help New CS 12Nm & 15Nm
