I'm interested in creating custom skins and was wondering if there is a viewer to preview the skins in order to review work and tweak positioning without having to load in game?

 

Still working on that skin pack. Mostly just polishing what I already have.

I love the 2023 stock car, so I'm creating my own team to participate for a full season. Anyone know if a template will be uploaded for the glass number stickers? The 2023 download doesn't contain one so my skin looks a little incomplete!

 

I wanted to give the Helmets another shot for my F1 2023 Skinpack. But what's holding me back except this UV unwrapping is the Color Bug on the Helmets. All Custom Helmets have a Brownish color on it. So the real color is never displayed when you create a helmet skin. You can see this here on the Lance Stroll Helmet. It should have a very similar green to the Car, but now it is more Brown with a bit Green in it.

On the next Picture you can see that under the Parts on the Helmet that there is the true Color that should be displayed on the whole helmet.

 

Any predictions of when we will be able to customize helmets for GT cars (Stock, GT3, GT4, GTE...) and Prototypes (P1, P2...)?

 

How do you enable the livery id numbers in game again? upgraded pc and have forgotten how to do it haha many thanks

Please let use customize the windshields of the Brabham BT46B and the Lotus 98T.
Does not work in current build of the game.

Great work guys. Time for me to dig through this thread and skin my whole game which I've been putting off too long

 

Is there any update on the F classic gen3 skins? I'm only missing the one car (model4) as I think it was added after the release of gen4. Or am I mistaken?

Your F1 skinpack look amazing! I do apologize for the newbie question, but how do I install them? At the RD site it said to unzip into the Steam AMS2 folder which I did. However, the skins don't show up on the cars. Could you please let me know what I'm doing incorrectly? Thanks.

 

You could open them using a tool like 7Zip or open the file until you come to a file called “Automobilista 2”. Then it’s just drag and drop to where the AMS2 file is located in the steam files
