AMS2 - User Livery Overrides

Thanks for the reply. There is no folder called Automobilista 2. Am I missing something in this file I downloaded from RD?

 

You need to press the file you want again. It happens sometimes that you need to got through multiple files to find the one called Automobilista 2 or something which is in the AMS2 files

 

Do everything just like @Racinglegend1234 said. There also plenty of Tutorials on YouTube!

Is there any way to work on AMS2's 3D models outside of the game? I find the process of having to refresh the skin in-game to be so cumbersome. I'm a really experienced Assetto Corsa livery maker and I'd love to make stuff for AMS as well, but I haven't found a way that isn't refreshing the DDS file and tabbing in-game to see it, just wondering if it's possible! Blender, Substance, whatever works.

 

Only for the helmets unfortunately.

 

I feel the same way, I would love to do more AMS2 skins but the current process is very long winded when you have to load another car into showroom before you can go back to check yours to see if a shape from the bonnet to the front quarter panel lines up.

 

That's a real shame, it seems my skin pack ideas will have to wait until the process is less cumbersome

 

You will get the hang of it. Painting with the UV Grid isn't so bad. Except when you are doing skins for helmets.

The Helmets are coming together nicely! It still takes me a few weeks probably to get them all finished. The Helmet of Sainz cost me over a day.

 

@Rob Thompson, man there is some file of the skin of the cruze 2023, because the available one is bug ale pulling the pirelli tires and, i'm creating a skin-set for a stock car championship.

if you have please make it available since the 2 cruze are identical just change the tire>

On the Perez Helmet it's also clear to see that a brown color is on top of the Helmet. I really hope this will be fixed with the next Update when I release all the Helmets!

Just like my Liveries, the Helmets are as close as possible to the real Helmets as you can see on the Perez one!

 

I believe that issue has been around for a long time so maybe isn’t an easy fix

 

Funny you should ask, but I just finished my fictional skin pack for the FUSA 2023! (Not technically what you were looking for, I know, i just had to slide in somehow)
