Automobilista 2 Mods!!!

Any chance of convincing Kaos modding to let you convert the other prototype mods? Like the Oreca LMP2 and the other cool lmps they have for Pcars there?

 

So all his new cars will only be available to Patreon members? Is that correct?

 

His new mods will be available on patreon for a month before the public gets them

 

the intention is to get back a little money for the time he spends.
Patreon members are like early access. They'll get it a month earlier.
As there is no way to secure that mods, he has to trust his members to not give it away.
But there will be people with friends and neighbours that get the copies earlier and thats why it could spread within a day.
I see this patreon as support for the guy, not as buying anything.

e.g.
I created the 4k reworks of Ferrari 488 Challange and some Group C cars for his mods and it was about 50 hours to make it perfect. Most people unfortunately don't see the effort, thats behind that releases.
Often there isn't a minimum of "thank you", just a " as next car i want ......"
So i think a patreon is a good system to thank and respect the effort

 

I do know what you mean. What you and Fred do are far beyond what I can do, and I appreciate the effort that you guys go to for us. The first time I downloaded his Mods, I did donate via the link on his Web Page. These Mods and Liveries etc, all make AMS2 a little more enjoyable and immersive. Thanks for all that you guys do.

 

For the future, can we expect to see conversions from PC3? There are some cool cars like electric formula, Audi TT cup, Megane TCR, Honda Civic Racing, Mercedes C63 AMG... and also some cool tracks like Bahrain, Yas Marina, Zandvoort.

 

I think the Supra is from PC3? Not 100% sure, however I think there are still so many cars from both PC1&2, so I see no hurry for those. Also PC3 is still on sale, even if it's forgotten even by Bandai Namco themselves(the game never goes on sale, they must have forgotten they published it ) so that makes the conversions a little more sensitive to many, and now that he has a patreon, even more so.

 

PC3 has an other encryption as NFS/PC1/PC2/AMS2 and its not cracked afaik.
Thats why you cannot unpack PC3 content

The Supra, Viper and Jaguar GT3 "World Challenge" class is all from PC3. I would say the cars are doable but the tracks don't even have pit stalls or a pit lane for that matter.

Probably a cease and desist for trying to sell the property of others. You can only take it so far before you wrestle up enough feathers.

 

I don’t think that happened. I and others talked about the legality of his mods and then he decided to remove the. I respect his decision and hope he comes back since I really liked them

 

Maybe not. Just a knee jerk thought because you can take a break from modding but still leave the content up otherwise. If people made him angry then that's too bad.
