Reiza, Please, can you implement THIS in AMS2?

Hello Simracers!

Preparing for our upcoming Stock Car 2023 race with the newly added Cruze Chevrolet vehicle, we discovered a very little but very nice track feature of the Snetterton circuit, that should be implemented as an option for ALL the other tracks in AMS2!

I think it is about the names of the corners being on the sides of the track?

If so, this is just replicating the real life Snetterton circuit and not something Reiza has added.

 

Don't you think it would be more helpful to just explain what you want instead of linking to a video that doesn't seem to get the point across?

 

The idea seems pretty clear from the video to me - i.e. the suggestion that all tracks could have (optional) sign boards showing the corner names like those at Snetterton.

Not sure I'd use such an option if it existed, but it would be nice to have an optional HUD element that displayed corner names. Or does that already exist and I just haven't noticed?

just like Mhad said, it’s represention of RL in snetterton, so nice to have it there, just there.

btw, still a shame “THE tree” is gone because of that storm in RL. That was THE snetterton mark.

I mean, is that really so bad, what I'm posting,here? I just wanted to share my passion for AMS2 that I am supporting since the begnning of its development. And I thought the official forum would be the right place to do so. But it's apparently not. Apparently its just the opposite. Apparently I am disturbing you by doing this.
I really don't get you, what kind of spirit, what a negativity you have got in you.

But this is basically just a subdirectory of the General Discussion Forum of AMS2 where I used to put my videos in.
And for that this Redvaillant covered me with his negativity and hate?
It's ridiculous.

I'm done with this forum.

 

No it's a thread where all videos are collected, instead of, you know, everybody making a new thread per video, or every user having his own video thread. That would become messy quite quicky.

Do we really need to hound people off the forums for... creating and posting positive videos about AMS2? Why would anyone assume that a random thread named "Need. More. Videos! C'mon guys!" is the only acceptable place to post videos?

Come on, it's not like there was an angry mob with burning pitchforks. It was one negative comment by one guy, everyone else was helpful. Nothing against Ralonso but leaving the forum over that is a bit thin skinned IMO. People should know by now that anything you post on the internet will garner some form of negativity some day, so just ignore it, like you said yourself.

And to be fair, the thread title is clickbait and you need to watch the video if you want to know what he meant

 

Sure, I'd have chosen a different title - but the negative comment you refer to seems completely over the top and unnecessary to me (and you gave it a like). If someone wants to be a forum vigilante they could maybe do it without being an arsehole.

 

Yeah and and Ralonso marked it as funny, and then called it hate. I liked it because I also found the whole thread was made as a means to drive views to the video, and that's not how a forum works, especially if you have a request to the devs.
