Automobilista 2 Mods!!!

Grid Grouping in the CRD file is what sets car classes ahead or behind each other. When doing multi-class races, a car with a lower grid group will be ahead on the starting grid than a higher number. It keeps order if you don't qualify.

2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat

 

So I tried the Scottish track and was amazed that it works flawlessly, absolutely everything works! The weather effects are visible! You can see the puddles and the drying line appears as it should and even real weather works, seriously impressed.

So @RockyTM and @gvse, did you guys find something new? Can we expect the same for the future tracks and can the released ones get updated? I assume not, but just asking anyway, it would be pretty neat.

 

There was nothing to do with this track. The AMS2 release is originally packed without any changes.
All they needed , was the export of the trd file to integrate it in the trackslist

 

I thought as much, still is weird how one track works flawlessly and others have cars going into space in the pits. I have 0 programming skills, but stuff like this honors the Madness Engine name .

Ok im gonna give this a go....are there any screenshots you can put up at all? If not thats fine....i find it really breaks the immersion for the mods when your driver suit changes depending on where you qualify...im hoping we can override the pit crew liveries soon as well.

FYI: Willow Springs (2 layouts) is available from PCARS Modding Team.

Also, I already have created a custom-AI file for Thunderflash's DTM '91 mod (Audi V8 DTM & Ford Sierra RS500). I'll proofread the livery names after he releases the actual mod on Friday (7 pm in France, apparently) and upload it to my AI pack.

 

Is there a Ferrari GTE variant that could be brought over ? Was there one in PCars 2 ?

 

Yes there was one on pcars 2 and the new aston GTE on Pcars 3 that was already converted to pcars 2

 

Would be nice additions to flesh out the current crop of GTE machinery , There was the C7 Corvette also if I remember right. Here’s hoping

If 100% of AMS2 owners became were already Paddock Club members (i.e., already owned 100% of current and future AMS2 content), there would no longer be any moral impediment to the community converting 100% of PCARS2 content (minus pointless duplicates). Talk about dreaming….

so the c7 and m6 could come in a slightly earlier generation of GTE along the previous vantage v8 Aston from Pcars 2 and the GTE viper that Kaos modding got for Pcars 2 from Pcars 3

It can almost give us 2014-2015 GTEs missing only the Porsche and Ferrari 458gt2 of that period
