Hi, I'm experiencing something that is really strange. I am seeing black .. sort of jagged triangles that flash on and off, randomly on my screen, sometimes crossing the screen, mostly when I am going through a shadow area (like shadow of grand stand). This only started recently, otherwise the game has worked fine. It seems to just show up once and a while but not always. I will try to post a picture. I have graphics set to medium high ish... but I usually turn down shadows to low. I don't experience any FPS slow downs.. I can't say exactly when it started but sometime about a month ago. My system is several years old, but generally plays games like AMS2 and MSFS 2020 just fine on high graphics (not ultimate lol).. I'm not much on specs but here it goes: Intel i5-3570k, 32G RAM, Solid State HD, Windows 10.. GFORCE GTX 1660 Super (I think it has 6 or 8G don't remember). I do hear the fan running higher after I spawn in and start racing but it always does that when I play any game with lots of graphics. Any ideas?
Yeah thanks, it's known and should be fixed internally already - maybe it goes away for now if you deactivate pitcrew detail completely - this will be sorted but worth giving it a shot!
Oh thank you! I did a search here but probably didn't use the right keywords, so I never found any posts. I'm glad it's not my computer haha.. I'm sure it will get sorted out so I'm not worried anymore. I will definitely try turning off my pit crew.
Im still seeing these black lines when other cars pit. It seems to be the older pit crew animation without tge helmets when it happens Is this issue going to be addressed in the new update?
Are you sure its not this one? Because if your combination of FOV and seat position up/down and forward/back is wrong then you get something like this. And if its only borderline wrong then it come and go while you are driving.
Thank you BrunoB. I'm not sure what I'm looking at. Your pictures looks fine to me lol. Perhaps I'm too old to see .. I was seeing BIG jumps of black things left and right jumping around the screen always as I passed by the pits.
hmm.. that picture on the left does look similar. Weird I haven't seen it recently.. it was not just one black line though, it was many jumping in and out of view from left and right ..kind of like they were trying to show shadows but I got thick black lines across the screen instead.
