@Danielkart I love your FFB settings (v300), but I find the outer edges of the curbs too high. To make what's marked in blue in the image more precise, what is the value of the configuration to lower it? My Wheel is a logitech g923
    Thank you very much

Hello! As far as I know, your G923 supports trueforce. So your base generates FFB from the sound. Unfortunately, I don't know how well and whether it supports Ams2. Maybe it also strengthens the FFB file. lI don't know whether you use trueforce or not. But the easiest thing would be to reduce in-game FX or reduce master_road in the file itself. Maybe it helps you

Hello. I am trying to find a CUSTOM FFB file that would allow me to feel weight transfer a bit more than the DEFAULT ones. I know it's possible because one can easily feel the wheel getting heavier when braking hard in the Audi R8 from @Thunderflash.
It would also be nice to feel ABS vibrations as well. If there is such a file, I'd appreciate if you can share.
    Thanks

Thanks in AMS2 the trueforce is not working, is like a g29. so the parametre of the curb is this master_road?

Okay, I didn't know trueforce didn't work. There are many opportunities. As I said, you can reduce In Game FX or reduce master_road (but it will then reduce other things) or individually reduce the kerbs_surface_scale value. There are many options, but it's hard to give advice because everyone has different feelings and preferences. My advice is to test a lot and follow your own feelings

To be honest... I'm a AMS2 fan but when it comes to 'standard' FFB it is very bad. I have a Logitec G923 and it just feels very slippery. When I go to ACC,.. what a difference. I don't want to read here 324 pages to find out my settings..it has to be in the game. I don't have a chinese very rare wheel. It is a starters wheel and Reiza needs to take care of it. Just my opinion...still a fan though. :)

    Hey guys!
I'll go one step further with the next customs. No damping has already been integrated into the V300. No more friction to use on the base and absolutely no cushioning is my goal. The file should do this for you so that you have to change as few settings as possible on the base or in the game. Well, I have this
already written with new V400. However, these changes will also bring additional improvements. In addition, there will be a new file for people who use very high forces (personal tastes) (15-25Nm). Nevertheless, this file will have no clipping and no vibrations or unwanted swaying of the wheel. (Tested with 18-20 Nm) This will make the spread smaller than before. That means there will then be:

    2-5 Nm file
    5-8 Nm file
    8-15 Nm file
    15-25 Nm file
    2-25 Nm rally file

However, I will only post these files after the next official update of Reiza. With that in mind, see you soon and continue to enjoy Ams2
    Greetings from Daniel:)

    Addendum:

The files are now definitely written and will take the different bases and powers into account even more.

    1. File 2-5 Nm
    2. File 6-8 Nm
    3. File 9-14 Nm
    4. File 15-20 Nm
    5. File 2-20 Nm Rally

There is also absolutely no damping (base and in game) or friction on the base necessary - the file will do it for you. The changes bring great progress and it feels fantastic. I will inform you more when it is published
    See you soon

    Be smart, read backwards ;)
(here and everywhere) When trying to catch up with lastest news, start from the end - you'll soon come to a point reading more pages is not necessary :)

The Default / Default+ presets are locked. I wouldn't mind having a customizable version of Default+ as a solid base to work from.

    Hi everybody,

I'm late to the party, but anyway...
Please find attached the Default and Default+ ffb files for multiple game versions (1.4.x and 1.5.x) and complete list of FFB functions and variables names (reversed from ams2 executable).

    Zip archives includes:
    ffb_custom.txt - default custom ffb
    ffb_immersive.txt - Default+
    ffb_legacy.txt - legacy?
    ffb_raw.txt - Default
ffb_specialize.rg - predefined values for vehicles

All FFB files are hardcoded inside PHYSICSPERSISTENT.bff file and you can extract them via PCarsTool with command:
    Code:
    PCarsTools_x64.exe pak -i c:\path_to\PHYSICSPERSISTENT.bff -g "c:\path_to\Automobilista 2"
You can also find them inside ams2 boot files.

    Happy exploring! ;)

P.S.: Please Reiza, give us proper documentation for ffb syntax and save my sanity, I really don't want to rewrite all the functions from vftables, huge structs and highly optimized x64 disassembly code ;)

I’ve had these files for some time as it seemed to be a door left open somewhere, but I respect that Reiza had no intention to make open and it’s not something they should be having to manage if they don’t want to .
Thus support or documentation shouldn’t be expected . and sharing without permission isn’t a good way to get that .

Are we really going there? That's one layer too far down the rabbit hole for me.
