All the changes that Reiza do in the physics side of things….. how are these then updated on all these mods??

    Uhm, no.
How many mods have you made? Why do you need to share your assumptions?

Mods use core physics elements of the game: tires, driveline elements, differentials, etc. If these get updated by the devs, then the updates automatically affect mods. Sometimes default car setups need to be revised, following these updates, but not always.

If mods did use physics of existing cars (which would make them shells running on other cars' setups, and so poor mods in my opinion), they would not get automatically updated with game updates: this would require modder intervention into their cars.

I thought they run modified physics based on the cars in the game. Well, I was wrong and thanks for clarifying

Thunderflash's Formula Renault 3.5 mod (with 2014 liveries) is now available. I've posted an updated set of custom-AI files for all of his mods, available either at RD or in the AMS2 Thunderflash Mods Discord channel.

Is it possible to convert AMS1 cars?
If possible, converting the “Copa Petrobras de Marcas” category should be super interesting in AMS2?

I’ve just realised that the latest GTE mod was released by Thunderflash the other day.
Looking forward to installing this later , a question though, When setting up multi class events sometimes not all I’ve added appear in the race eg: I add maybe official GTE/GT3 along with a GT3 mod like the ADAC cars . Not all will be present in the race , Is this a limitation of AMS2 ? Maybe number of different models ?

Ai are picked by random and by livery numbers. The less liveries a car has, the less chances of being picked. That's why you usually see cars in PC2 or now AMS2 with the same amount of liveries.

I seem to remember this being something to do with having custom AI files?
Try deleting these/uninstalling the custom files from CM2 and try again.

Ok, is this just me, or does the rear on some of the recent 1.5 "compatible" mods never break the rear tires loose? I tried the PC2MT Hellcat and Thunderflash KTM X-Bow, both of which were impossible to oversteer. At first I thought it was just an issue with the Hellcat, but both cars feel like there some weird "hand of God" on the back of the car.

Some of those cars have stability control. Press M on the keyboard to turn it off.
    (if I remember correctly)

The Hellcat maybe, but the X-Bow definitely shouldn't given it has no other driver aids. It's weird since the Thunderflash RX cars feel perfectly fine (I would guess most of those are just reskins with DLC cars' physics). I'll try it again, it just felt like there was terminal understeer everywhere and the X-Bow couldn't slip the rears on power even with 300hp and it weighing basically nothing.

The Hellcat felt like the clutch/torque converter (maybe it's automatic IIRC) would slip past 50% revs, but the tires would never lose grip.

I went back and reinstalled both the X-Bow and Hellcat and did some testing. Something must've broken on my initial install as both can oversteer now, but something still feels broken in regards to the drive-line on the Hellcat. It's either no power, or so much power the drive-line can't handle it. Toggling SC does nothing and it feels impossible to get any power down given the strangely binary power delivery

As for the X-Bow, a huge part of the strange understeer issue was due to a horrible setup. The front axle was insanely stiff and the rear was much softer. After doing some tweaking (and I'm a setup novice) I got it to feel much closer to a normal car.

v4.0 of Thunderflash mods are now available; every car has updated FFB and the Lotus Exige Cup 430 has been added.
