No, no custom file is similar to the defaults. This is the wrong thread for this. People here are looking for a different experience for FFB because they don't like the defaults

    Hey guys!
You may have noticed that there is no personal V400 file for my Simucube2 Pro yet. I will send you these files later, but probably not until around Christmas time. These files will then be targeted for the Simucube2 Pro and specifically tailored to different wheels. If I change my wheels then I also change my custom file. It makes a huge difference which wheel you ride with. Size, weight, diameter and rotation speed change the forces and feel significantly and can give a completely different feedback. My wheels are the following:

    1. Simucube Tahko GT-21 Wireless
    2. Cube Controls GT
    Sports Wireless
    3. Cube Controls Mercedes AMG -GT
    4. Evil Racing DGT Wheel V2
    5. Gomez Sim Industries Formula GXL Pro

I think there will be 3 files (light/medium/heavy/ sorted by weight and size of the wheels). For me personally, this is the next step in perfecting my customs on my base and my wheels. I think these files will be a final addition for FFB freaks like me:D With that in mind, many greetings to all the crazy people out there;)

Very impressive dedication to custom ffb version development (Per wheel, no less!). :)

I have yet to try your latest files as I'm currently sticking with Default+ (during beta) but, eventually will test some customs to find a new base-line file to fine tune.

Yes, personalized customization is key for me. That's why defaults aren't an option for me at the moment. But also (my personal opinion) because of anomalies that the FFB causes with defaults. As I said, these are my feelings and everyone should have the opportunity to use their preferred files. Defaults or customs, the main thing is that it's fun:)

Guys, how is recommended, generally speaking, for sim racing FFB settings? More FFB in the wheelbase software and less in the game menu?
    Or vice-versa?
    Thank you

For strong DDs, the base should run around 70-80% and in-game according to preferences. This way you run on a good base setting.

There are no general settings in sim racing. Every simulation behaves differently and personal taste also plays a role. But since we are talking about Ams2 here, there are of course certain settings that you should pay attention to. In Ams2 there is a sweet spot for in-game winnings which is around 55-65% depending on the base and custom files. So you can't go wrong with 60%. You can then adjust the gain at your base. If your base is weaker then take 100% gain (recommended up to around 10Nm). However, if your base has high powers, running at 80-100% is not recommended. Unless the custom file is tailored to these forces. Many people make this mistake. So for your csl dd 8Nm you can take 100% gain at the base and about 60% in play. This way you will get balanced power with lots of FFB and little clipping

This approach is not recommended and is counterproductive. For example, 80% would be a force of 20Nm with a base of 25Nm (Simucube 2 Pro). You would have to reduce the gain in the game extremely and would lose all of the FFB or only get very little FFB. As I said, the custom file has to be adapted for such high forces, otherwise it makes no sense

I do it so I don’t get any clipping. Easiest test is driving a very quick car on SPA, if it clips at eau rouge then I lower it.

Here too, about 60% in the game and 100% at the base

Yes, if possible I always leave the FFB per car at 100%. If they change it they will change the in-game gain and therefore the whole FFB. So I'll rather increase or decrease the gain on the base if it's too strong or too weak. This will only change my strength but not the FFB

I don't understand ( Simagic Software) what's the difference between the Torque and FFB.
    Are they the same?

The software one is how much of the available torque your bases will use and the AMS2 one is a percentage of that which (I think) AMS2 uses when you’re driving

Torque is the maximum force your Simagic Base can deliver. So in your case 10Nm. You probably want to use this power and that's why it's best to set it to 100%.
The gain in the game has nothing or very little to do with your base. Try to familiarize yourself with your base and understand all the settings:)

Is the spare comma in the files not an error?
