Is there any plan to improve the replay feature?

Probably one of my biggest annoyances with AMS2 is the inability to skip to different parts of the replay by just clicking somewhere on the progress bar. You just have to fast forward instead, which is really time consuming and annoying. In other sims I love to watch replays of my races, skipping to the good parts, but in AMS2 I always just skip it cus it's too cumbersome. Such a shame.

 

It’s a livetrack limitation which I also hope will get fixed. (BTW I love your username and Profile picture)

So I'm guessing livetrack must run the whole replay linearly to work properly? Man that's a HUGE bummer. I have to try and remember to pause and watch the instant replay when I make some cool moves, but I wish I could just do it all at the end.

 

Reiza has alluded to that they hope someday to implement mid-race saves (but no promises yet), which does rely on some of the similar technical hurdles being solved as with the livetrack state from scratch rendering and skip-in-replay feature.

I wouldn't count on it happening soon, though.

 

Actually Simioni said some update infos back that they were looking if some small tweak of this replay issue could be made. But maybe that is the same you are refering to

 

Conserning this replay status then I just hosted a MP race.
And when I checked the replay then the other 3 guys looked this way in pits.
And at least 2 of them had no damage on the car out on track.
But on the replay they looked a bit damaged.
