    Hi all,
Hoping that i don't get too much crap if this has already been posted but i searched and no joy.
    Im desperate folks.
I'm just in the process of setting up triple 48" lg c2 oleds and I'm having trouble locating DisplayPort to HDMI (cables or dongle) to run all three at 4k 120hz. I have a rtx 4090 so I should be ok in terms of power, its just I've ordered 4 different connectors and non of them work as advertised (bloody amazon).
Please-o-please can someone with experience in setting this stuff up, let me know where to get connectors that actually work from.

Really any helpful info on the subject is appreciated

I dont have a clue but an advice to your post.
You could post exact links to the cables you have bought that dont work.
Because then people can help you posting linkt to something better.

    Ok here we go,

These are the units i have tested so far

8K@60Hz DisplayPort to HDMI Cable, DP 1.4 to HDMI 2.1 Video Cable Unidirectional Support 8K, 4K@120Hz, 2K@240Hz, VRR, HDR, Dolby Vision, HDCP 2.3, DSC 1.2a for PC, HP, ASUS, DELL, AMD, NVIDIA (3M)

DisplayPort 1.4 to HDMI 2.1 8K Cable 2M,Maxonar DP to HDMI Lead 6.6Ft, [Aluminum Shell, Nylon Braid]Uni-Direction, 8K@60HZ 4K@120HZ,Compatible with PC/Laptop,Monitors,HP, DELL, GPU, AMD, NVIDIA etc.

Cable Matters 8K DisplayPort 1.4 to HDMI Adapter with 4K@120Hz or 8K@60hz, Unidirectional (DP 1.4) Display Port to HDMI port 8K Cable Adapter in Black, Support for RTX 3080/3090, RX 6800/6900 and More

These have all be unsuccessful and the frist cable listed only managed 4k @ 30hz even when reducing colour rating and hdr. So that one is the worse. The dongle was used along side a audioquest vodka 48gb cable and only managed 4k @ 60hz with again the colour settings as low as i could and no hdr. I have ordered this morning the below and will get back to the thread with results as soon as i have them. My recomendation to anyone thinking of doing a multi monitor setup at this point would be to not use tvs. If your in the same boat as me then avoid the items above as they are a total waste of time and money

    Club3D CAC-1088 DisplayPort 1.4 to HDMI 2.1 Active Adapter

Just in case it is relevant my specs are as follows

Gigabyte Intel Z790 AORUS MASTER DDR5 PCIe 5.0 E-ATX Motherboard

    Intel Core i9 13900K 24 Core 13th Gen Raptor Lake CPU/Processor

Gigabyte NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 24GB GAMING OC Ada Lovelace Graphics Card

Corsair RM1000x 1000 Watt Fully Modular 80+ Gold PSU/Power Supply

Samsung 970 EVO PLUS 500GB M.2 NVMe PCIe Performance SSD/Solid State Drive x2 in raid 0 stripe

2x16gb corsair vengence ddr 5 cant recall the timings and so on

If anyone knows of anything ive missed that is relevant pls let me know

    Just looked at your links.
And it looks for my unqualified eyes like you have chosen some good quality items.
Could the problem be the the conversion DP>HDMI itself ?
I mean because your system are forcing this conversion a bit too high.
    Hehe just elaborating:whistle:

Did you activate "game mode" on your monitors?
    Usually those have one...
What about if you test it with a single monitor?

    I
    I second that

it’s very unlikely these dongles would all fail

I think you have either windows or the TVs settings wrong

or you did not parameter properly your triples in NVIDIA CP settings

you need to activate resolution AND refresh rate

    Morning all,

ok so i held off answering bits this morn till the new dongal turned up (club3d cac-1088)

and the results are in. As soon as i pluged it in it worked flawlessly, full rgb 10bit colour and 4k & 120hz .

Now i would say that from what ive seen on the net that to get it to work like i have it you will need a high quality HDMI cable capable of transfer the full 48gb (tried a cheap cable and it only supports 4k @ 60hz so thats the cable not the dongal).

i would also add that i emailed club3d over the weekend as i couldnt find the cac-1080 witch is known to be good. First thing this morn i have a email back telling me that the cac-1088 is the replacement and the cac-1080 is now discontinued so props to club3d for getting back to me so quick on a monday morning.

My heads a bit crap this morn so pls excuse my all over the place type of post but i really wanted to get this info out now as this is how things should work and not the rubbishy rebranded tat from china that amazon is trying to sell.
