I'm a big fan of the historic trackpacks (got them all) but what I'm really missing is an historic version of Monaco. There's a great 1960's Monaco for Assetto Corsa and it would be awesome to have track like this in AMS2. Any chance of this happening?
Agreed. A 1960s and a pre and post-1986 Monaco would be perfect, especially as the Azure Circuit is now apparently a 'scanned' version - meaning the baseline geography and legacy buildings etc on the modern track would remain authentic too. I'd Imagine it would require a ton of work, but It's something I'm more than happy to pay for. The modern track STILL needs someone to turn the lights on in the tunnel though!
How different would the Azure circuit be to the early 90’s Monaco? I would think maybe the chicane after exiting the tunnel might not be the same.
Historic Monaco (for vintage open wheelers) and Sebring (for prototypes and GT) are pretty much the only tracks I use in RF2 nowadays. I like RF2 but if we could get both of these tracks into AMS2 I'd probably never play RF2 again and be able to free up some space on the SSD!
It seems bizarre to me that as F1 cars are getting bigger and faster, they make Monaco even tighter and twistier. They should open it back up, like it was 50 years ago.
